Cons: - breakfast is pretty poor (egg derivates, some fruits, bread and jam) - same everyday - no water provided in the room upon arrival - no water provided for breakfast - no mosquito nests - room light was very poor when it gets dark outside - the water from bathroom was very dirty with sand in it

Pros: - good position, near the forest, quite area - private free parking - big room - we were able to do the check-in before it was scheduled - the host help us with a car rental (a very good one for a good price) - hairdryer available - AC works very well

1) AC was very far from the bed. So the cooling was never good. 2) The stay was few meters away from the main street which had no street lights. Hence without a car it's different to commute at night. 3) More lights are required in the room since it is big

The rooms were big and beautiful, big windows , well lit also the washroom was very spacious. The aesthetic of the stay was very well done exactly the same as in the pictures. Restaurants, beach, supermarket, busstop everything was nearby.

Apartment is ground level in the garden. Expect some insect visits, especially during cooking. We killed about 7 cockroaches. There is a large gap beneath the door where they are getting in. We recommend installation of some net to the door. Lot of light in the room during night due to security light in the garden. It was solved by the staff by adding a towel as a curtain.

Appreciate cleaning of the apartment everyday, helpful reception. Good communication and assistance.

It was a 10 min ride from praslin jetty, we were welcomed by the Guy named Ranjit who is a sri lankan he served refreshing welcome drink and helped us with our luggage to our room, the room was spacious with very big bathroom , they provided kettle, mini fridge, tea/coffee . The indian  grocery store , Grand Anse beach and a takeaway is 2 min walking distance from guest house ,the breakfast area was nice and the hotel also have tortoises in the garden, the breakfast was decent with eggs, fruits, milk/tea/coffee , bread and fresh juice. The manager too was friendly she helped us in renting car and also arranged jetty transfer and also recommended the places to visit.Ranjit was very friendly he can speak hindi,English and a little french,also the guest house is near to Praslin airport and Anse Georgette beach.

I requested a vegetarian breakfast it was very disappointing. Staff member could not speak English it was very difficult to communicate. Towels were not changed and no one was available on the property to ask in the afternoon.

Breakfast wasn't really good, communication with the hotel was a bit slow, the little bed for the third person wasn't comfortable and payment by card was difficult because of the lack of internet connectivity.

Rooms way different to what is suggested on the fotos, Grand Anse seems to be a dead place in the evening, no balcony, extra fee for Laundry service (room not cheap compared to the rest of Praslin)

there is no place to dry your stuff in the room, poor soundproofing and it took a lot of time to get breakfast served (as everywhere in Seychelles).

it’s a good value for money in the region! rooms are big, a/c worked good. The house is located in a very quiet peaceful area (though I would recommend to stay on the opposite side of the island, as everything including beautiful beaches are there). Rooms were cleaned every day, staff was very helpful and friendly and there is always an option to ask for local cuisine dinner.

Location is easy to find but it is better if you have a car with you.

Flavy and Ranjit are very helpful in everything! Flavy is very accommodating in answering my queries about places, tours and ferry schedule to make our stay enjoyable and stress free. Ranjit on the other hand, is very kind to reheat our food late at night. They make delicious breakfast too! We were happy we chose this place to stay in Praslin.

We loved the guesthouse, great value for money.

Even though it is not in front of the beach, the property was perfect! There were even 6 giant turtles. There are a few restaurants in walking distance. The bed was very big and super comfortable, the breakfast was decent and the personnel very kind.

The location is good, the garden is very nice, even with turtles. Breakfast was perfect (pancakes, fruit, omelette). The room was OK, but there was noise from the neighbors. But TOP is Flavy - a very kind and helpful person, it gives the whole place a very friendly atmosphere. He also helped us with car rental, thank You for everything.

The bed and the pillows were not so comfortable. The ceiling was wooden so we could hear all the footsteps and noises coming from the other guests which was really annoying. The internet speed is slow at times. Maybe breakfast could not be the same every day.

Clean rooms, nice view. Flavy is really helpful and always with a smile. We were able for a late check out , which we appreciated.

Flavy, is the kindest, sweetest host you could ever wish to meet. Never without a smile on his face, a laugh in the air and a kind gesture made. La Modestie made us feel right at home! The furnishing of the room was rather sparse and not very comfortable, aside from the bed, which was fine. There was a lot of dead space that could have been used for a table and chair to use as a desk when doing internet. The divan provided was uncomfortable and better suited for the 19th century (!). The location turned out not to be very convenient as most of the relatively few attractions on Praslin were on the other side of the island. Car rentals were few and far between and I wasn't able to secure one.

Breakfast was plentiful. I especially enjoyed the fruit plate each morning. Flavy, the manager, was a wonderful host and very engaging person. The size of the room was very large so there was plenty of space. There were two very good restaurants within easy walking distance.

The only thing I can fault is that I found the mattress a bit lumpy.

The breakfasts are lovely and they are sufficient to last you for almost the whole day. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and make sure you feel very welcome. The property is set back from the main road so is very quiet and peaceful.

In the room wasn´t enough of lights, there was impossible to read in bed. Except that it is very nice room.
