“The central location was really good. Proximity to the bus station was a huge plus. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. Utilities such as the kitchen seemed well-kept.”
“Hotel Victoria is on the sixth and top floor of large building, and the views are stunning. All non-smoking. The streets below are pedestrian, so it was very quiet. It is centrally placed in the town, and most of the restaurants are within a minute or two walk. The airport bus stop is also very close, use either Stadtshotel or KanalGarten. Breakfast was a buffet, and there was always something that pleased me, from bacon&eggs, tomatoes, pancakes with cream and berries, bread and various cheeses or jams. Coffee and tea are available all day in a self-service kitchen. My double room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. Best to unplug the mini fridge for a silent night! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and I troubled them with a few problems such as late luggage arrival, etc. They gave good advice on places to visit. I was relieved that this hotel was of conventional solid construction and not made of wood!”
