The area is light industry and has some truck traffic, which brings noise in summer night when windows need to be open.

Sandra is a helpful and kind person. She provided all the support I needed during my one night stay. Train station and everything is close by. Clean, good breakfast and coffee, tea, cookies and water is always available. Highly recommended if you coming from Höga Kusten hike or visiting city for a short trip.

^Big room with comfortable bed ^Our dog got bowls for water and food and all the armchairs were covered so he could sit like at home - it is sweet when hotels are so pet friendly, love it ! ^delicious breakfast

In the days before the arrival, the reception did not answer questions, answers came, but they were not specific. For example, the simple question about reception times remained unanswered even after being repeated twice. Apart from this, very poor value for money: The room was completely different from what was described and shown on the photos, the mattress was worn out, the only seat in the room (an old armchair) was worn out (so that you could hardly sit in it). In addition, the room smelled intensely of drainage, the window could be opened, but this was not a good solution because of the street noise at night (tuned cars etc). Smashing doors (“wall shaking”) every few minutes. So that I am not misunderstood: I think it is generally OK to offer such rooms, but then please as a super-low budget room for maybe 20 Euros, but not for 90 Euros. You could also add that the rooms are distributed over 2 floors and in the lower floor over 2 areas. For me it looked like I was accommodated in the most shabby part. The fact that in the shabby part apparently foreigners like me and in the nicer part only Swedes were accommodated, was for sure (or hopefully) coincidence. Breakfast was OK, but not that special as claimed.

The room felt a little hot, so perhaps the ventilation was the only minor downside.

The staff were all very nice and helpful, and the breakfast had everything you might wish for. There were also lots of nice additional touches: homemade cake for guests in the afternoon, coffee and tea available round the clock, sauna, lovely roof terrace, and games/books to borrow.

Easy to find. Even though I arrived late they provided clear instructions regarding access.

The hotel had very limited facilities. There was no kitchen or bar - so you have to go out every night. The reception of the hotel is on the second floor? Limited staff at all times. There is no staff after 17:00 at all. A lot of detailing was lacking. All the locks had been changed on the doors, but you could still see the contours/holes from the old ones. The drain in the bathroom was the highest point - so the water would go everywhere except the drain. The breakfast crew touches the bread / food with their bare hands. The breakfast is limited.

The place was located close to the harbor and the city center - which was convenient. The free Wi-Fi was adequate. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. All you had to do, was to leave a note outside on the door.

Decided we had to leave early (5AM) and no way to hand over room key. No staff in the hotel. Had to leave key inside the room. Would be nice if they had some sort of mailbox where you could drop off key.

The rooms are a bit small and cramped and the radiator can make the air very dry. The shower in the bathroom also was quite tight. Its all fine if you don’t care about frills and just need a place to sleep.

The location is perfect, near the city center, with everything easily walkable.
