The elevator didn´t function all the time. Two firealarms during the stay. Heavy stairs to climb. Small windows. Just one normal pillow.

Close to the Main Street of the city. Walking distance to restaurants. Easy to find. Refrigerator in the room. Very good beds.

Need better information about parking. Contrary to the booking.com website, there IS free parking for the hotel but you will need to get directions and a permit from reception at the time of check-in. The included breakfast is not buffet-style like most hotels. The manager brings each guest a tray with a selection of breakfast items. There is no choice. It’s a rather strange system. The water in the shower was barely warm and there was no ventilation or fan in the bathroom.

We booked a deluxe double room because we wanted extra space and we certainly had a spacious room. However, the room was located in the attic of the hotel and so, for half the room, we had to bend double to avoid hitting our heads on the ceiling! This is an old-style hotel with rather eclectic decor but the room was clean and neat and the beds were comfortable. The non-Swedish managers of the hotel spoke limited English but tried hard to be helpful. The hotel is situated on a pedestrian mall which is pleasant in some ways but can get a little noisy if people are sitting out eating and drinking until late.

Needs updating. Bathrooms are very small. Beds could use sheets and blankets that fit, along with pillows. Better breakfast options.

Unique style, “vintage” charm. Very friendly owners. Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Most powerful water pressure of any hotel shower I’ve ever experienced.

I would like to specially commend the person at the reception (don't know his name but he speaks good English) who, it seems, is also responsible for more or less everything else in hotel, from breakfast to any other hotel service. He is very friendly, helpful, professional and very dedicated to making your stay pleasant.

Stayed just one night, so everything was positive. Being built of wood, the staircase can be a bit noisy if the hotel is filled with people but I thought it was nice and authentic 😊

Nice hotel in the centre of the city of Sollefteå. Beautiful authentic decor from 1800. The hotel was built in wood and retains it's authenticity both inside and outside, which gives a special feeling. Seems like some very famous people have stayed here in the past. Parking available and friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, made specially for individual guests. Definitely recommended for couples, families and even official trips. Worth more than the value 👌

The bathroom needs renovation. The smoking area outside was right underneath my window... Not so pleasant when you're trying to sleep...

The location was perfect on a week day/night. The room was small, but didn't feel that was and was comfortable. Once in it's live time this must have been the most beautiful hotel in town and in the area. You can still see the old hotel, so it is special.

The hygien, Cleaning and they were npt proffessional at service. And very loud noices outside the door, you could hear everything, the isolation was not good. And the bathroom was sunky.

Very bad. The staff is not cleaning up the breakfast afterwards. I saw a nutella chocolate being opened 07:00 am and when the time was 21:00 ut was still there with flies on it and the day after they served same nutella. I dis not eat that.

Service was the best part of the stay, I so much appreciate the local hospitality. I arrived very late and very kind gentleman was waiting for me until almost 11pm. Bed was very comfortable, good temperature in room.

Water in the shower was too cold. Nothing else that we didn’t like.

Breakfast was very good. Great that it was served in the bedroom, because of the pandemic. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Staff were very attentive. Extra requests were immediatly dealt with.

The rooms were a bit cold, but as the host has such a warm heart it was ok.

The service was beyond excellent! The host is very attentive and friendly. The hotel building is from 2 centuries ago and gives a nice feeling of history.
