Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

GermanyYou can see that everything what the hosts do is done with so much love - the carefully renovated farm, the decoration, the breakfast. It is an oasis with a beautiful garden inviting to relax, and the hosts are so unbelievably friendly and helpful, I've never experienced anything comparable. GermanyEverything was excellent! Bathrooms are downstairs, not en suite, but we were aware of this and it was no problem for us.
This is a very special und incredibly charming place. The lovingly renovated old farm house is beautiful and authentic and so are the surroundings, furniture and decoration. Breakfast was very good (with all-you-can-eat fresh figs from the fig tree next to our table in the old courtyard :) ) and when we asked for dinner, they cooked a wonderful three meal course just for us (it was no problem that we are vegetarian). We went for a nice walk in the surrounding countryside. We stayed as a couple and found the place very romantic for couples, but we also have a kid and would definitely also come back with kids as there is lots of space to play and some animals to watch and pet.

The old farm is still in expansion but the part of the B&B already finalised is really nice! Very beautiful interior with lots of space. The farm has a patio/inner garden where you can relax, there is also a kind of “living room” with comfortable sofa’s etc. The host (Polish origin) is absolutely awesome, super friendly. We left very early on our way back to Belgium and she prepared a “take-away breakfast” for us, also she speaks sufficiently English which you surely can’t say of all hotel/B&B owners in Sweden!
