We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel is located in a rather ugly building, presumably from the Seventies, in the middle of Hjø. Our room was on the ground floor and faced the parking lot in front of the hotel (lake view is possibly more expensive). Nevertheless, it was fairly quiet. The personnel was professionally friendly. The breakfast buffet was extensive. We did not eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant. If coming to Hjø again, we would consider staying in Hotel Bellevue again.

this is our favourit hotel. we have been visiting you several times. we even rented three rooms to celebrate grandpa’s birthday in September.

A very good 3 star hotel with excellent location and great breakfast. Because of a number of negative reviews wirth regards to cleanines and service-level our expectations where pretty low but both my girlfriend and I where pleasently surprised. Our room and bath-room whas very clean and tidy. The armchair in the room was a bit worn and torn but apart from that we found everything to our satisfaction. We really enjiyed our stay and loved the breakfast-selection........end especially the the oprtunaty to make our own waffels which that is an old child-hood favourite of mine. Very good breakfast-selection.

SwedenOur room was fairly warm, would be great to be able to open the window more to air it out before going to bed. There was a smaller ventilation hatch that we had open during the night though. Personal opinion: I liked that original features from the 70s were still there, like dark wood and brick walls. Some later additions to the interior were made in a newer look (early 2000-ish?) so slightly confused impression on the inside. I'd say play with the retro vibe and add some textiles and art from the 70's so that the interior match the expectations you get from looking at the exterior.
Breakfast was excellent (Covid 19 measurements in place at the buffet, lots of room to move around the different stations, and hand sanitizer placed out). Lovely view over the lake from the terrace. Wooden flooring in the room - yay! no carpets! Updated bathroom, great water pressure in the shower and nice bath products.
