Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The property was very close to the metro station and all the main stops. Breakfast was included and they had many different options.

MaltaWe had no conditioner and I requested that it gets filled but nobody filled it unfortunately. It was rather disappointing that we had to pay quite a considerable amount to use the spa for 2 hours (maximum time allowed).
The hotel is located metres away from Skanstull train station so very convenient. The room was a good size and comfortable bed. Very quiet despite there being a conference that time. Breakfast was excellent.

My room was super small The QIR code charging system for the minibar was stupid (complicated, time consuming, not user friendly)
Breakfast was good, bread roles could be better (too soft and falling apart) Mimmi was a ray of sunshine from the the arrival until leaving the hotel, but also all the other team members were always super friendly and happy the help

It was clean and well located. Shower was powerful. Service was good. They have a room to leave luggage in and we had a late checkout (at extra cost SEK200 per hour). Well located, 2 minutes from a metro station and easy pleasant walk to the Old Town. Lots of restaurants in the area.

IrelandWe arrived at 10pm on Sunday night, bar was closed fortunately there was a decent bar (Lagerbaren) across the road. The staff member who checked us in was very pleasant but he told us that because it was a "holiday" the next day?? breakfast would be served until midday. We went down to breakfast at 10am and there was a sign at the entrance to the breakfast room saying breakfast was finished. Fortunately we just made it! The restaurant staff were very helpful and we did get fed but we were definitely misinformed when we checked in. The staff in the breakfast room said it was not a public holiday so don't know how this confusion arose. This needs to be addressed.
