Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere is no room service at all. Nor a mini bar. We arrived late and there were few options for something to eat. No coffee/tea facilities in room either. Minor things really.
Excellent Breakfast, both substantial and varied. Good bar. There is a restaurant, but we did not try it. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned and towels and sheets changed only once during our 5 day stay, which no doubt keeps the costs lower. Transport right outside, although we usually walked as it was very central.

Ninnie, the lady who works the night shift was wonderful. I had an embarrassing moment when I arrived as coming from England I didn't know that it was a cashless city and we were tiered from traveling late. However she was so patient and understanding and made our experience so lovely throughout our stay. All the staff were very nice but she was the reason I have become a member and will be returning when visiting my partner in Gottenburg. You have a great staff member there don't let her go Comfort Hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the hotel it's self is very attractive. Thank you so much for the amazing time and experience. See you again Ronni

GermanyThe hotel is very eco friendly, apart from not washing towels (which is ok for a short visit),they also dont provide any products in the room, there are only 2 towels available, not even a floor towel!!!!! on cold climates like Sweden a body cream would also be appreciated! slippers are also not available and the room gets quite dirty with all the snowy boots and wet soles! unfortunately these are things that make a stay comfortable! For the price its a very beautiful hotel, but consider bringing your own things from home!!!!
The hotel is on a prime location. it has very modern decoration, looks very pretty, room was spacious but on the small side, great view on the port. The breakfast was classic European style, nothing extraordinary.

Very friendly reception! Perfect location, a 10 minute walk to the city center. Quiet rooms in spite of the tram and car traffic (also at the time roadworks). Large room with river view! Breakfast buffet with plenty of choice.

SwitzerlandThe hotel had safety concept in place for COVID-19 for breakfast to spread out the guest more even during the morning. You were therefore supposed to pick a time slot for eating by check-in. However there was no check if people actually followed the "schedule" so people just showed up whenever which gave very long lines and packed with people. Which made the "safety concept" quite pointless
