Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SlovakiaThe breakfast coffee was sad. Some dirty things in room - sink drain, drinking glass,...but the main parts of room were clean.
Staff was nice and polite. Bed was clean, comfortable and not worn out. Room had all the standards of a hotel room despite I literally chose the cheapest option. Tv and internet worked well.

IrelandThe bar doesn’t open on a Sunday It’s in quite a business area so no nearby restaurants The towels need to be left on the floor to be changed, we left ours at the end of the bed and so they were not changed. The receptionists while lovely were not very informative ie where our room was, where the lifts were, etc
The breakfast was excellent as were the breakfast team and the gym was nice. Gave us vouchers to use during our stay

The breakfast buffet was excellent with a broad variety of quality ingredients. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and I also made good use of the free bicycles, going to different meetings in Lund.

NetherlandsThe rooms could be better cleaned, around the beds etc. We arrived at twelve o clock at night due to traffic complications, and the kids beds were missing in the room. We had to ask the receptionist, who were very friendly to arrange it for us. The same thing for the dog. We got a breakfast voucher for our troubles, which was very nice.
Very cosy hotel with perfect location, especially when you are traveling. Friendly staff, fantastic breakfast buffet.

SwedenWaited 10 minutes at check in, only one member of staff while other staff swanned around grinning at each other. Had requested and confirmed wine and chocolates for the room for our anniversary, arrived to nothing. Furniture in suite is more Form over Function. Inadequate access to electric plugs in suite. No answer at reception after 3 attempts. Hotel bar unmanned, stood waiting 15 minutes to be served / seated in the restaurant despite empty tables. Staff were exasperated, felt like our presence was a nuisance. Staff wandering around with headphones on, very poor presentation. Menus different between website / elevator / restaurant, even with different prices. Needs updating. Had to flag down staff to pay for meal, weren't allowed to put it on the bill for the room, once again felt like were disturbing them.
Nice big penthouse suite with incredible views of Skåne. Heated floors in the bathroom, large comfortable bed. Excellent transport routes to and from the hotel. Restaurant meal was delicious. Included continental breakfast was great.
