How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We can't say anything bad other than it was a bit old fashioned.
Beautiful location right beside the Baltic sea. The hotel itself is a bit old fashioned but served all our need. We had only a one-night stop over on a long drive, slept well and got a wonderful breakfast. Good value for money.

The isolation of the doors isn't great, we were in the hall next to the elevator and heard every ping and every person walking in the hall. The rooms are also decorated extremely spartan, with low lights, no space to put clothes, no fridge...
Breakfast was excellent, personnel was really friendly and helpful. Location is great and the parking garage was nice during the winter so the car wasn't frozen and our stuff was secure. The junior suite had a great sauna and comfortable beds.

Clean, freshly renovated rooms, perfect breakfast! Hotel manager came to inform and consult customers when firefighters were in action! Plus next morning welcomed everyone with gorgeous smile for breakfast!

It is a more expensive hotel, but you have many advantages, so it is ok.
You have a big room with all expected comfort, It's not far from the station and in the city centre. The breakfast is very good and the staff very nice. I like that hotel and would stay there again.

Soundproofing between the room and corridor was nonexistent, so that I woke up several times during the night when people were chatting and shouting in the corridors. Additionally, there was a scent in the room that maybe some people like but for me it was unpleasant (like almost all fragrances). Parking was not possible.
Breakfast was excellent, lobby and the breakfast restaurant were nice and clean. Location is good.

You need to ask for everyday cleaning.

I would strongly advise anyone travelling with a pet(my small dog was accompanying me)not to stay at this hotel. Pets are allowed or rather just tolerated, definitely NOT welcomed. A very high pet fee is required, however at the same time, pets are not allowed in the restaurant(where the buffet breakfast is served), pet owners must eat their breakfast with their pet in the noisy lobby instead. Pets are also not allowed inside the bar area in the evening. The guest must take their drink into(again)the lobby. The location of my room was also clearly in a undesirable area of the hotel.

In cold and snowy winter, the space around the hotel was pretty slipper and not secure to walk!

The rooms are sub-par for the price. The room shouldn't have cost more than 800kr. The room was located in an adjacent building next to the main hotel building and they were not of high quality. Barely average quality to be honest. Walls are paper Thin, extremely noisy, hence the reason that they had ear plugs in the room, and just a low quality feeling. The bathroom felt like it was last remodeled in the 90's.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location
