Great location and lovely interior

There are a lot of stairs, so you need to be a bit careful but you get your exercise. Also, if you have a car, overnight parking is not cheap or convenient. After unloading, we put ours a few stops down the metro line and just left it for our stay as you don't need it in Stockholm.

The location was perfect as it is in the old city with easy access to restaurants, shops, and some attractions. It is also close to the water. It has a rooftop deck which was great to relax on. A small washing machine was also useful to refresh a few clothing items.

The stairs are intense- especially for anyone travelling with younger children. Be prepared for them

Great location, across the street from an excellent restaurant and a perfect spot for exploring Old Town or taking the ferry across to Skansen etc from Slussen. Apartment has excellent facilities too.

Very little.

Excellent apartment right in the centre of the city. Clean, well-maintained and had all the facilities you would need for a short trip as a couple. Surprisingly spacious. We received plenty of helpful advice from the host prior to our visit and they were responsive during it. Excellent cycle hire just a few minutes walk recommended by the hosts – Gamla Stans Cykel - and the local Co-op was only a few minutes walk away and had all the provisions you need for a short stay. We would return on our next trip to Stockholm.

Great apartment on a quiet street in the heart of Stockholm. Door code entry which then allowed us to collect the keys from a locker within the building. Nicely furnished with a fold out bed in the lounge area for the teenager. Everything you need in the kitchen as well. Easy access to the sights of the city, with plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Suggestion is that you could comment that the bed situation is actually a double bed upstairs via narrow stairs and the second bed is actually a fold out sofa which if used needs to be put up and down daily otherwise it completely takes up the floor space in living area. Only thing that could be added were tissues and some instructions for the washing machine. I also found the heating very warm and could not work out how to turn the heating down. The Manageress was very helpful and came over but she also couldn't change it so perhaps this needs to go in the instructions also.

The sofa bed sleeping arrangements are only for one person on each sofa. So plan well.

Very central location with a very beautiful view. The interior decoration is very beautiful as well. The apartment definitely has the old town charm and the communication with the host was also very perfect. A minor incident happened with the heater in the main bedroom but the host was reactive and found a solution in no time. She even brought us some nice gifts which was absolutely not necessary but very kind.

Outstanding location in the old town. Comfortable and clean. Very good facilities. Could not fault. The bedroom stairs would be a challenge for less able-bodied folks, but we loved the whole experience.

Apartment was cozy and so so charming! We had great stay!! It was well furnished with a full kitchen. The location is perfect for proximity to all that gamla stan has to offer, the train and it's also walking distance to many things in the city center. The one trade off for it being in such a lively area is that it's also lively at night. If you require absolute silence for sleep, this isn't the right fit for you but if you are okay with a little noise at night, Gamla Stan apartments is an absolute gem.

Atmosphere. Maybe it was caused by the buddhist lady, who lived there, but the apartment has very good atmosphere, and we felt there very comfortable. It has so positive feelings. And also the location was also great. In the heart pf Stockholm, walking distance anywhere

I used the sofa bed, there is another bed on a mezzanine level which possibly due to my age I would have found difficult to access. Sofa bed was very comfortable and bed linen provided so no hassle.

The location was amazing, in old section of city you could walk to a vast amount of sights. The apartment was beautiful, very tastefully decorated. Folder was provided with local information.
