Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beautiful scenery, spacious room, nice sauna & jacuzzi department, easy to get car almost in front of main entrance. Nice beers, ok breakfast. Friendly and helpful personnel.

FinlandThe staff didn't wear work clothes, the staff went in and out the kitchen without a hat and top of it all there was a dog in the breakfast and nobody said anything.
The place is amazing if you are travelling with kids. The pool was in front of our room, just a grassfield in the between.

Beautiful, clean and very thematic place to stay. They have sauna, jacuzzi and a nice restaurant.

We liked (family)room having it's own terrace. The sauna and spa was nice except ladies sauna was not heated (during the operating hours). The hotel manager finally manager to arrange The missing tv remote control.

FinlandSo many mosquitos in room and restaurant. Window screen did not help and no air-conditioner. Dinner buffet was a trap, tasteless and expensive. We should have been to the burger nearby instead, which was just a 3-minute walk.
Swimming pool is steps away from backyard door. But open till 20:00 only.

GermanyStaff had forgotten to clean our room before we arrived, and then it took forever to get us a different room. Then that room had no drinking glasses or shower gel. Definitely not what I expected for the price we paid.
The location is beautiful. The hotel itself is quite impressive, too.

Awesome hotel sourrounded by beautiful arctic nature right beside the river. Very friendly and helpful service and clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. We just loved that hotel, it's unique.
