Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI think the floor in at least one of the toilets/showers may need some attention!
I have never been glamping but I lived this. I think possibly because I booked at the last minute but, whatever the reason, I was very pleased with the free upgrade from caravan to yurt-style/size tent. I think even Gengis Khan would have been happy with it.

NetherlandsThe location is a bit out of the town. The advantage of it is that you get more space, it's very quiet and green :) you can borrow bikes to get to the town or take the bus which is 15min ride and costs a few euro cents. But the disadvantage is limited dining options in the neighborhood. Nothing too bad, you only need to account for it.
It's a very unique place :) the theme is worked out to details and it's all really pretty :) the comfort is imo better than what one would expect from staying in circus campers :)

HungaryIf you're on foot, the town centre is a little bit far, but with cycling it's fine.
This place is so fun. All the wagons and tents are colourful, the whole place is beautiful and has a really bohemian feel. Staff was helpful and nice, they have bicycles. The room was amazing, and really comfy, very hot water in the showers.

Austriait's just a gorgeous, lovely place to stay. every wagon has so much charm. very nice people. unfortunately a little bit outside the city center, but public transport is not far away, so it's not really an issue. there could be 1 or 2 showers more, especially in the morning there's a bit of a traffic jam. but again... not really an issue if you're on holiday

United KingdomThere’s literally nothing to not like. Previous reviews mention Wi-Fi but honestly, why would you need that on a holiday?! Good signal anyways, perfect place all round.
The most amazing place ever. Thank you for existing. Will be back, times a hundred, can only hope. Such an incredible community feel, beautiful dogs and people.

ItalyAlthough the weather was a bit extreme notably due to the high winds and rain, I believe rain water drainage could be improved on site. Also a 24/7 key drop box could be added, if not already available, I could not find one. I was not in a hurry and waited until the reception opening time in the morning. I did not see any horse, but they could have been under the Circus tent, which I did not visit. I believe horses should be present in a circus site.
Having the rooms spread over the site, in circus trailers is an original and interesting concept. The staff was charming during the check-in.

Czech RepublicOur wagoon was quite small and a few (space for things - shelves, wardrobe) are occupied by circus props. But it certainly has its great charm and is perfect especially with children.
The accomodation and this hotel (I should probably would be better to say a hostel) with a perfect idea of a cirk stand. It is connected with an unusual perfect design and a lot of equipment /special tools in our room-wagoon/. The Grand Circus hotel offers also a lot of aditional tools and possibilities (free possibility of bike lending etc...)

Czech RepublicIn our small wagon was not a lot of place and a part of it was filled with some ideas of Fortuna Tours wagon oficiál inhabitant. S perfect advantages of Grand cirkus hotel koncert possibility of free borrowing a bike and taking it to a city. The scent of this for bikes was not perfect and our bike was broken after 1 km going from the hotel. The personnel l was very nice and helpful and invited ass for a homemade beer as a compensation. 👍
Very good accommodation with a nice idea of a circus stand. Not everything was in perfect condition, but descent was not bad and the personnel was very helpful. The local position was very nice and I consider our staying in Grand Circus hotel as one of best peaks of our Scandinavian journey. 👍
