Don't expect a high end place, it feels like the place is a bit behind the times. The solo room is small and you might hear neighbours next door snoring for example. You might also hear them coming in and out of your room. But there's no real noise inside or outside. The people living there seem to be older, possibly local. This is not a bad thing, just an indication who you will meet, if at all. I rarely ran into any people in there, mostly outside of the door smoking. Not a party hostel by any means or a place to make friends. Works for sleeping and doing your thing outside.

The location is convenient and close to transport all around. You can also walk or use scooters around there. Grocery stores right next door. Quiet neighbourhood. Friendly staff greeted me on arrival and did what was possible to make everything convenient. It was very clean although the facilities were not perhaps the newest or fanciest. It got the job done. Best if you are not spending a lot of time in your room and only sleep there. There is a lounge area, if you need one. A shared kitchen where to make tea or cook. You will have your cup, plate and utensils in your room all for yourself. Several bathrooms and showers on one floor so one was always available when needed.

It's a quite clean hostel considered that bathrooms are shared. Rooms and beds were clean. The owner was very helpful, I booked last minute and he found straight away a solution for me to check in easily, even if it was Saturday evening. Thanks a lot!

I lost my room key. I called the emergency number at 8 pm. The automatic message asked to hold on, the call could not be redirected. I tried many times without success. I decided to go back home to avoid having to sleep in the corridor. On the way home I could hear my key at the bottom of my trousers leg. I got a hole in the pocket. Fortunately, I could come back. The two emergency numbers did not work. It can be dangerous in case of a major emergency.

The whole hostel is new and tidy, and spaces are big everywhere so it's very comfortable. Rooms are very nice, with furniture including a fridge ! On each floor there is a kettle with complimentary coffee and tea for guests - in the main shared kitchen there is a complimentary breakfast in the morning (crackers, butter and jam). Shared kitchen is useful and practical. Check in is automated by codes but staff is available on site during certain hours and by message. Location is great. Enough toilets and showers to avoid queueing :-) Bedlinen and towel are provided.

I liked everything and would definitely consider staying here again if ever in the area.

Spacious room with closet and fridge. Good location, about 10-15 min walk to town center. Nice facilities (kitchen, lounge, ample dining area), cozy decor, tea/coffee available any time and a little morning snack was a nice touch. The place feels very safe, with multiple doors secured with key code.

Just minor: the washing machine was broken, so we couldn't wash our clothes, but that would have been a bonus anyway.

Super friendly and helpful staff! We were allowed to drop off our luggage much earlier than check in, and there is also a very practical storage room for bicycles.

Wasn’t sure what to expect from Helsingborgs Vandrarhem Hostel - it was budget accommodation for the night - but we were very pleasantly surprised. Helpful staff, luggage storage, big room, good Wi-Fi. Good location. The showers and toilets were always clean, and there was a sink in the bedroom which really helped. The other guests were respectful in their use of the kitchen and dining room. Using both was easy and very convenient.

Showers were a bit far from the room and didn't have much of an area to place clothes in the one.

Perfect stay for one night. Kitchen is good to make tea/coffee. Room was bigger than we thought and was nice that we had our own basin in the room.

We had some issues to find the hostel and get into the property with the unmanned check-in, but it was due to issues not directly related to the property itself. But it would be very useful to have a 24/7 opportunity to contact someone in case of need (which doesn't seem to be the case)

There are many common areas, most with lovely details. The rooms are quiet and well equipped. Would definitely recommend for a cheap stay in lovely Helsingborg!

The closing mechanism on the door is very strong which means that doors slam which is very noisy and shakes the room next door.
