We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff at the hotel were all very good. The WiFi was fine and my request for a quiet room was fulfilled. Decent breakfast selection too. The bedroom was fairly small but adequate for a night and the bathroom had an excellent shower. Car parking in the garage below the hotel is an additional charge but worth it. Note though that it is very tight to get in and out. I managed with an estate car but anything bigger is unlikely to make it. The location is right in the centre of town.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast with many options, including freshly baked waffles! Close to ferry port, train station and city center, everything within a short walking distance. Comfortable bed and practically furnitured.

GermanyA breakfast doggyback was proposed via email (booking.com) in an answer because I had to leave very early. 1 day before staying at the hotel I confirmed that I would take this doggy-bag. Replay via email: "whatever you are referring to... just speak up for it at the desk". So at the desk I was informed that it would be too early for such a service next morning. This was ... confusing.
Nice close position to the ferry. Prepared for bicycles. They have to be left in the underground garage.
