Room was somewhat small. It's central to Orsa, but the town itself is rather small and dull. We were there on a Sunday night, and had barely any options for dinner. We ended up driving to Mora for dinner.

A small resort with nice rooms and a lovely view of the river. Welcoming owners. Quiet environment and easy access. Nice breakfast with a home-like touch.

Wonderful family-owned hotell that really looks after their guests. They called us to make sure we would arrive safely, telling us we could call them at any time if we had any problems. We felt so welcomed! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

The hotel is in a beautiful spot along the river and walking distance to the center. The room was nice size with a comfortable bed and luggage racks which was really nice. The host, Hakan, was very helpful with suggestions of sites to see in the area. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.

I can't think of anything we didn't like.

This was a quiet, comfortable and clean room in a compact hotel beside the lake inlet. We felt immediately at home in what felt like someones' big house. The bed was very comfortable with powerpoints nearby, there was countertop space by the bathroom sink, and a thermo mixer in the shower, manufactured in the local area! For the summer warmth, there was a pedestal fan; very thoughtful. The windows opened wide to a splendid view across the water to a forest. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate and there seemed something for everyone, with a nice outside terrace to enjoy the sunny morning especially at midsummer! The friendly owners were very helpful with any questions we asked, and made us feel right at home. Parking was free and right outside.

This hotel is quietly situated overlooking the River, with a garden and first floor terrace taking advantage of its lovely position. This small town with shops and many restaurants are within a 5 mins walk, and there are lovely riverside walks to the lake . A perfect base for exploring this area of Sweden. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, comfortable and good buffet breakfast. The owners are so warm, friendly and very accommodating, perfect hosts.

Rooms were newly renovated and really nice, the owners were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, we really enjoyed our stay there. Easy parking at the hotel, places to eat within walking distance. Coffee and tea in the room, shared fridge.

No rats in the room, but I expected there was high concentration of radon. My room was in the underground cellar, meant to be bombsafe.

First of all, this is not a hotel, but just a basic bed & breakfast. Breakfast is too basic (after the frist day we brought our own fruit). Location is quite disappointing, next to an apartment block. The house looks more ore less charming on the outside, but inside it really lacks charm. The owners seem to have missed that Sweden is the country of IKEA, and that a cosy interior can be very affordable. The room was small, the bathroom tiny, and the view ... well ... you better close the curtains to avoid the neighbours from the apartment block peeping into your room. It's friendly that you can bring your own food and drinks, but it would be more comfortable if you could order something to eat or drink, at least that is wat I would expect from a place that calls itself a hotel. Apart from all that, we had to call the owner the first evening because there were nog sheets on one of the beds, and the last night a false fire alarm kept us from sleeping. Long story short: I have no clue why this place got so many excellent reviews ... The owner seemed to have noticed that we were a bit disappointed and offered us a discount.

The owner is a friendly helpful man. There is a sauna and you can swim in the river in the backyard.

Breakfast was very basic but I guess adequate for most people. Although the name suggests it is a hotel, it is in fact a B&B. Small bathroom and limited storage space for our clothes. Hakan explained that most guests stay only one night so no closets/wardrobes/shelves.

Quiet location close to centre of town and with views of the river and lots of green. Very helpful owners Hakan and Carola who have travelled a lot themselves. Old charming house with cosy atmosphere. Free use of bicycles, canoe, sauna.
