How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A lot of dust under beds. Strange and dirty smell in bathroom. Bed sheet were clean, but very damaged, breaks on the edges. Heater was really close to fall down from the wall. Both mattresses were very old and the springs very noisy. Breakfast was the same every day, and very basic food. Nothing like, sausages or hot-dog, only eggs were like prepared food. Just to make a sandwich, and put some jam on butter and cereals.

Everything especially the receptionist, I did love the fact that shopping 🛍 malls or centres are just close by and a walking able distance.

The room wasn’t clean. we didn’t have trashcans and the floor was sticky. toilets were dirty too.
the breakfast was normal. i honestly expected more. it was very basic. but edible and fresh. The location was perfect! so close to everything

Rough area and rooms not exactly what was advertised on the page. Not the cleanest room either, beds aside - they were fine.
Very close to shopping, food and entertainment. Comfy beds. Good breakfast. Pretty much it.

No heating ín the bathroom. The room was cold when we arrived. The same food offered for breakfast every day.
The staff was really helpful and kind. Nice view from the hotel window, bus stop is in 2 min walking. Comfortable beds.

The listing address itself is confusing. It was not in “Stockholm” . There are two similar addresses in the city, so we had to pay the taxi twice. I appreciate the hair dryer that we only got upon request. Anyhow, it was probably the value for what we paid for. Everything was mediocre including the breakfast.
We like the free breakfast option.

We were two couples. One of the rooms they gave us wasn't cleaned and they had to change it with another one. Also, the shower head wouldn't stop spinning (it wasn't tight enough and the water pressure made it going to the ceiling).
Value for money. Of course I've seen much better deals, but Sweden is expensive country and the hotel is better option than a hostel. I don't mind staying there again. Nearby bus stop, quiet location, free parking and... beds. What more can you ask for? :)

The building has mold in the ceiling of the hallway on the second floor. The sheets in the room had some unwashable stains on them, but they were still clean. The shower's temperature control requires a decent amount of precision when twisting to the desired temperature.
Included Breakfast was good, room was overall okay and the beds were comfortable enough. Location was good as it isn't too far away from the city while being affordable. Next to it is a big mall with cinema, food and a grocery store. Staff was kind and I can tell they know their security :)

That everything in the hallway and stairs was so run down...Like we are talking huge holes in the carpets. One employee told me breakfast cost extra. Second day I decide to eat breakfast and go to pay when dude says it is included. 😒 Young guys making a lot of noise in the corridor in the evening. The breakfast is...sad. Don't expect a hotell breakfast. And I think someone failed cleaning the coffe machine...I was literally drinking dish soap.

One of the bathroom lights was hanging out of the ceiling.
Room was spacious, clean and well lit. Breakfast was included in price so it was good value for money. Close to bus stop and Kunga Kurva shopping center and Ikea.

Smell of sewage coming from the pipes, stuffed sink drainage, dirty toilet, poor lighting in the room, hard to reach reception worker, scarce breakfast, crowded parking.
I can barely mention anything good, except the cheap price. If you can imagine the cheapest hotel (in every sense) - this is it.

There was not a shampoo! I even offered to pay money and buy a shampoo from them but they said they didn't have any!
The value is great for the price you pay, and for short term stays. The breakfast buffet is great! They almost have everything. There is a 24-hour front desk and staff are helpful
