Nothing really--the only negative was the views out of the windows onto an ugly alley, but that's not the hotel's fault...!

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, full of charm and exceptionally friendly staff. the location could not be more convenient to the train station, gardens and tourist attractions. And breakfast was not only included in the price, it was quite generous! And fika is provided upon arrival in the afternoon.

Overall, this is the best hotel I ever stayed in. Everything was perfect. 10+ Fantastic location, walking distance to everything, including train and bus stations. Friendly, helpful staff, breakfast to die for. Clean and warm, tastefully decorated, comfortable lounge with free tea, coffee and cake right through the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was super and the coffee very good, location is the best part easy to walk to all the shops and the good restaurants all around. The home made cake and the coffee was so good and nice to have after have been out all day, big plus for that. The room was very cozy and clean well every day. We will be back for sure to this hotel, and big plus for the staff they are very frendly

The property is the oldest hotel in Gothenburg and it’s full of character! The rooms are lovely, clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s right in the centre of the city too.

The breakfast was great, the room was clean and quiet. The staff was very kind and helpful. They answered to every question we had. They even let us enter our room way earlier than the designated check-in time which was really good after a five hour trip.

The pillows are on the softer side (but bed was super comfy!).

The staff were very warm and welcoming, and even the lift had a recorded message that wished us well, which was a nice touch. And the bathroom floors were heated, that was awesome. Location was great, just a short walk to the main train station and to the nearby shopping area. Breakfast selection was wonderful too. It was a very pleasant experience and I can see why they have rave reviews! :D

There was a strong smell of sewers coming up the drains in the bathroom, but I'm guessing it's a general issue in the area since it could be smelled in the air outdoors as well. Usually happens in packed touristic cities. Not sure if there is anything the hotel can do about it at the moment, just a heads up.

The front desk staff were really welcoming, accommodating, and lively, it's a great first impression. Nice breakfast with a big selection. The location is amazing.
