Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomNo kettle. No fridge Wet room floor shower, although within a glass cabinet so it stopped most of the water. There was no window, although there was a skylight with an automated blind. Wifi was slightly fiddly as it was one of those where you had to sign in to a website first time. (No air con, although the thermostat was OK as it was cool outside) Probably the only truly bad thing was that the TV was utterly pointless. There was no connection for TV programmes, you could only stream audio or video from your phone. But if you tried to stream over the hotel WiFi, the picture came out as garbled; so pointless having it at all!
There was an automated check in system, but staff were nearby if you had any problems. Spacious room with double bed, although an longer hallway took up a lot of the floor space. Plug sockets with USB connections. Thick walls so quiet room. Laundry room down the hall (although only one machine) Lots of hooks for coats etc. On the same road as train station, but down the quieter end of the road.

United StatesThere was no place to put our clothing, if we had unpacked our bags. Maybe installing some shelving would have been helpful. We could have had a more generous towel selection in the room.
The location was great! It was easy to checkin and to check out. The staff were friendly. The room was efficient. The lighting, once we figured it out, was good. I liked the shower, once we figured out how to turn it on and off.

What an amazing experience I had! Pretty nice and easy self check-in process when arrive; lock room (cells) on your own in the lobby hall (!); free coffee and water (!!); mini bar with snacks and drinks in the lobby as well; and one new kicker table in the lobby for fun! Combined with the superb location, friendly staff and affordable (for Stockholm central area) price - 9/10 (just because 10 is not achievable I guess :) )

FinlandIf there is live music nearby, as there was when we were staying, you can really hear it loudly in the room. Earplugs are recommended. There is no table in the room, so if you need to use your laptop, you will have to go the lounge downstairs or be in bed.
Location is excellent and basic room is ok as you mostly just sleep in hotel.

Location is perfect for going around Stockholm on foot. Rooms are nicely designed and even they are not that big, they are quite nice for a short stay. We had an issue with our shower, but the staff was great and they changed our room immediately. In the lobby of the hotel there is a nice lounge area with a lot of space to hang around. We really enjoyed our time in Scandic Go and would definitely come back again.

The location is excellent, really close to the central station and main shopping area. Great cafes, bars and restaurants nearby too. Check-in was super easy and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Clean room with free toiletries. The bed was super comfortable and the room was warm even with cold temperatures outside! Definitely recommend!

United KingdomWe didn’t like that there was no chair or desk in the room. Only the smallest windows opened and the air conditioning and heating weren’t adjustable, the room was too hot. We didn’t like the loud building works starting at 7:30 each morning.
We liked the friendly staff greeting you as you walked in. The bed was comfortable. We liked the shower. We also liked the location.

SwedenI did miss the breakfast from other Scandic hotels, but understand that they have a different concept. They had other options on demand so you don’t have to starve. Just not the abundance of the luxury hotel breakfast 🥞
It was a great hotel. I loved the design. I did a lot of creative work while I was there, and it was a good atmosphere to focus.
