The staff was very friendly and helpful with our concerns. We really had a huge and cosy 2 floors room with comfy beds. The room was decorated in local style which adds to the holiday feeling. The food in the restaurant was very good and of high quality. The breakfast served a wide variety of food and there was always enough of everything. A real recommendation!

The room itself felt a bit outdated, especially the bathroom. Also the walls were quite thin, so you hear a lot of noise from neighboring rooms.

Beautiful setting, felt a bit like the Shire in Lord of the Rings. Excellent restaurant, a 10 minute walk to the shore of Lake Siljan and a short drive to nearby touristic towns.

The room was very warm and stayed like that the whole night. I also found lots of hairs in the shower. Too bad because everything else was perfect.

The staff was really friendly and helpful! The restaurant was fully booked but Emma still got me a seat since I am a solo traveler. The location is perfect - quiet in the evenings/night. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!!! Good awareness of the Covid-19 situation (alcogel available at multiple locations).

The location was good but the room was old and the bathroom was old. It was also very poorly insulated, when the room above us walked or talked we could hear them. The charging for cars was also poor even though they have several chargers. At least two of them were not working

Not flexible for breakfast time only offered from 8am onwards. The staff finish at 1600 hours and no evening meals are offered at all. If you are to open you should at least offer clients a service not a money grabbing experience by the owners. I travel a lot and this hotel rates in the bottom three. It should be better as they have two other hotels in Tallberg, keep at least one open with full operating facilities and service. On another point they should accept cash as well as cards especially for buying drinks = cash. Overseas credit card companies often regard small amounts and lots of transactions on cards as potential fraud and this causes problems for the card holder

See above. The hotel is one of three owned by the same people in the village. It is very poor that clients were basically abandoned when paying good money to stay here. The service was not offered at all

Some flaws at the room. I had expected more considering the price (compared to other Hotels at Tällberg, there is a lot of them to choose from).

most of the gluten-free breakfast buffet was rancid. we had booked a double room deluxe but got a regular room and still payed for the deluxe room. the hotel as well as booking claim not to be responsible and so nothing happens and we sit on the costs

Poor service & the restaurant/hotel in an immense need of renovation since the 80’s.. the dinner we paid for was served in an old conference hall- nothing cozy or restaurant like at all. Really sad as appearantly the foreign owners hadn’t intended to up the place at all. It really felt like the place had some serious money issues..The competing hotel on the other side though! Åkerblads..Amazing! Go there instead and you will have a true Dalarna vibe, great service and food…

Had family room. This was an outdated room, missing all of the nice decorations. in addition, out of the three windows one had proper curtains that did not let go through light. Second one was more decorative curtains, whereas window 3 did not have any curtains. At booking,com no reference that bunk bed was shorter than normal bed, nor that restaurant and facilities were closed in full. I would have looked for another accommodation instead. Dinner in hotel next door was very good btw.

No staff after 4 pm. The room was a bit small and common area needed some cm freshening up. Room, also, but I am sure all hotels after the busy season do.

Nice staff, beautiful grounds, good location, nice areas to walk around. Breakfast was nice. Our bathroom was very large and clean, with a nice balcony to the courtyard.
