How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Beautiful property in a calm and quiet spot while still very close to Helsingborg. The cottage is cute and has everything you might need, plenty of space and sitting areas. The host was lovely and kind. We would definitely stay again.

Everything was exceeding the expectations so nothing went wrong.
Hosts are amazing, friendly and they helped us during our stay. Location is super quiet and very close to Helsingborg. The house is comfortable and equipped with everything you would need (kitchen stuff, TV, living room, big bathroom, BBQ…). We enjoyed the patio outside a lot and also used the BBQ every day as the weather was also good. There is so much green space around so also the dog could enjoy nice run outside and walks in the fields. I really recommend this place and I would really like to come back in the future.

The way the pictures look make it look like like it’s a one bedroom but is in fact a studio.
What a lovely stay! It’s located in a peaceful place and is separate from the main house so you have good privacy. The kitchen had everything you could want to cook with,the bed was super comfy and the living room was cozy.

The lighting was cozy but not very suitable for reading.The bathroom was a bit small but you can put your things down in the hall next to it.
There was a lot of space and it was very quiet.

There's nothing we don't like. We were very happy with our stay.
We've stayed there before with our dog and it's a convenient location for our travel. The host is welcoming and always gives clear instructions on how to access property. The cottage is clean and beautifully presented. Everything is there for your comfort and to make you stay enjoyable.

This was my second stay here and it was great. Lovely location, super helpful host, comfy bed, nice kitchen with all the amenities. The weather was good this time too so I went for a bike ride to the beach at Helsingborg which is just a few kilometres away. All good, highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again.

Bathroom is not the newest, but totally ok.
Wonderful location, neat rooms. The host (Maria) is very gentle and reliable. Great garden and calm area.

Hard to find anything to fault!
Host Maria was very nice and attentive. The facilities and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest standard and offer a enjoyable, relaxed and comfortable stay. A recommendation from a Genius level 3 member.

A very nice cottage in a good area. Very comfortable bed, well furnished, everything I need. It was so good I'm coming back for 2 more nights tomorrow!

This cosy cottage at the countryside is well furnitured where old (not outworn) meets comfort. The garden cottage is like described and presented in pictures on booking. it gives you a lot of privacy. WiFi was very good. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's cottage. The house was incredibly cozy, with a very nice retro interior design but equipped with modern appliances and a great bed. Lovely garden and BBQ area. If you have the opportunity, book this accommodation for at least a few nights, you won't want to leave early.

Maria was a really kind and helpful host. The location is wonderful, the bed was super comfy and the apartment was pretty neat and clean. The apple tv worked properly, as well as the microwave, the coffee machine ecc. Hope to be back soon, because the atmosphere and the location were amazing!

We stayed in a refurbished country house, which however kept many artifacts from the past, like old photos, furniture, and kitchen ware. All that gave a really unique great experience. Besides, the horses and the dog were a great attraction for the kids 😀
