The facilities are not new, but still enough to make the place comfortable.

I really appreciated the broad breakfast choice, ranging from a good selection of cheese and cold cute to croissant with cream and pannacotta. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Lovely staff and always available to help, also gave my friend and I the chance to leave the bags stored after the check out. Pristine conditions of the room. Room was pretty warm with the possibility to regulate the heat. Plenty of choice regarding the breakfast, everything was scrumptious! Quiet location and hotel generally speaking.

A few teeny-tiny things: I didn't like the smell of the soap they provided. One of our key cards stopped working at some point. They asked us whether we wanted daily or every-second-day cleaning, to which we said every second day, but then the cleaning came on our first day, not the second day, which could've been clarified better.

The staff was extremely helpful, they went the extra mile to help us. The breakfast was healthy, tasty, and had a good variety. Also, our stay was perfect with a kid. The small extra touches like soda water, fruit on the front desk, tea and a little cake out all evening, umbrellas to take, really stood out.

Lovely staff, sent us out with sandwiches on the way to our early flight. Amazing little sauna building out back that is free to book and private. Super easy to get to/from using the airport bus and/or city trams. Not ultra-modern looking, but very sweet, clean, functional, charming, and so much hospitality (coffee, homemade treats, etc.).

I liked that I could open the window in the bedroom. Not noisy at night either. I liked the fact there was an old fashioned plug in the sink and that there were shelves in the bathroom for stuff. Breakfast was excellent -eg home made crispbread that was delicious. Very healthy options (and a few tempting not so healthy)

Staff were exceptionally helpful, going the extra mile with regards to check-in/out times and letting me use the workspace for a while. The location is very close to the centre. Hotel is clean and well-kept.

I could hear noise both from the room next door and from the upper room; other guests are not very kind to neighbours, they are smashing doors open and close, moving furniture around even if its late at night; since i am a light sleeper, this noise woke me up. I did get ear plugs from the reception in case there was too much noise. Not many available channels in the TV, very little to choose from.

The room was large and comfortable, very clean. It has great services as there was a double bed, an armchair with a little table, a desk, a minifridge and a waterboiler along with cups, tea, coffee and milk. The room also had a little room to hang coats and put the suitcases. A big window with lots of space too. The room was very clean and felt very inviting. Comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast is very complete, a lot of fresh bread, yogurt, vegetables, ham and cheeses to choose from. Warm dishes, cookies and a little bit of fruit. There is more than enough to make for a fulfilling fresh breakfast. Also, they have coffee, tea, chocolate, water, cookies and sometimes croissants available all day for guests to have; you can even get a cup to have hot beverages to go. That is an absolutely awesome detail. Location is good.

Alwasy returning to this real pearl, it feels like home away from home for the welcoming atmosphere and helpful personnel at the concierge. It is quiet, despite being very central, which is the top priority for me (and I believe for many travellers), the rooms are spacious and spotless clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is another high point, actually several points, and going very early in the morning means that you can sit in blissful stillness in the sparsely lit orangerie. One can sit in the room next to the entré and relax during the afternoon with a cup of tea and plenty of books to borrow. I have not tried the sauna yet, but I plan to.

During my last stay, I had to leave early and asked for a take-away breakfast. All that was provided was a small cheese sandwich.

I have stayed many times at Lorensberg and it's a very reliable, cozy place. Nothing fancy, but that's the point - the rooms are clean, spartan and rather minimalist, allowing you to rest or catch up with work. The staff is usually helpful and kind. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate (often along with cookies) is available in the lobby.

The Lorensberg is a charming hotel close to restaurants, the hockey arena and the Liseberg amusement park and Christmas Market. The tram will get you to oldtown, the harbour and the train station within minutes. Excellent staff and the breakfast had a good selection.
