How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A bit far from the city center, however, by tram it takes ca. 15 minutes.
Very nice hotel, very comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast included many varieties. Overall, the stay was very pleasant. Public transportation (tram) was nearby. Great choice for people visiting ESS or the LTH.

Some confusion with the card keys and the lift. Reception failed to explain key needed to work the lift.
Convenient location just off E22. Clean and fresh. Dogs are given a big welcome with treats,water bowl and a towel at the door, then a bag of treats to take to the room. Dog blankets and bowls available on request. Good pizza in the Sky Bar with excellent service by the waiters there.

Bed was a little bit too soft for our taste but that's it. Would have been nice to have a kettle for a hot drink in the room.
The shower was amazing. The whole room was spotlessly clean. The view was impressive from the 10th floor where we stayed. The soundproofing in the room was great you don't hear the corridor music at all.

The Wi-Fi speed is practically nonexistent, and the room cleaning service is extremely poor. Additionally, the breakfast offers limited options and is mediocre at best.

I ask to check out 13:00 instead of 12:00, because I had to make a big car journey and the told me that I had to pay extra:( That was the only thing that saddened me.

Gym needs to open earlier. If this is card access please can it open at 0500am as this mean people can get a work out in before their day starts. This is only 30 mins extra . PLEASE
Hotel and staff really good. Sky bar needs more menu options for food as very limited, however food ok and all staff great.

My only disappointment is that the gym does not have a spinning bike. there is some weird contraption with moving handlebars. If this was replaced with or complemented by a simple spinning bike (which is cheap by the way), then Motel L would be the place I stay every time I visit Lund.
Modern clean comfortable. Friendly staff, great views. Located close to the tram line from Lund C to ESS. There is even a gym.

Although there is a tram station two minutes walking from the hotel, it is still quite far from the city centre and all kinds of bars, restaurants and cultural attractions.
The hotel is modern and has all kinds of resources to make your stay comfortable. The staff was very friendly at all times and the rooms were very complete in terms of bedding, towels and toiletries.

I think this is a personal preference to a small degree but the coffee/tea facilities are in the lobby/meeting area. But I think in the end I preferred that.
The hotel is very clean, has all the facilities you need. I have never seen so many plugs in a hotel room ever! And the beds were amazing, had so many aches and pains but when I woke in the morning they were gone and a really good night's sleep.

The first room I went to wasn’t cleaned from the previous guest but they were quick to get us a new room.

We almost could not check in although I have communicated when we will arrive. Luckily there was one guest in the Lobby who could help us open the door otherwise we would‘ve been locked outside. The phone number provided did not work. The receptionist was unfriendly. Otherwise it was fine.

In general a comfortable place. Surrounding area is modern but dull. Fine for a short walk but not in itself an attraction. Tables with breakfast very tall for children (which may also have its advantages ...).
Fine value for the price. Clean and modern. Good breakfast. Practical location for getting around by car or tram. A few comfortable eating options in the area. Playground nearby.
