Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThere were a couple of times the room was not cleaned or cleaned completely. Example is the iron board was not put away or the curtains were not opened. The lack of AC in the room made sleeping hit and miss.
The room was quite large for Stockholm standards. The breakfast was sizable and varied. The wine bar and entertainment were outstanding.

United StatesWe ended up moving rooms for a number of reasons that were not the fault of the hotel, but we were also relieved after the move because the first room was tiny! If you're in a room facing the inner courtyard the music in the café can be rather loud even with the windows closed, but it stops at 10 or 11 so didn't impact our sleep. There's also no air conditioning but there are fans in each room and the temps were cool enough throughout our stay that it wasn't an issue.
NOFO was a really cool hotel. We loved the thoughtful design and different themes throughout the place. The buffet breakfast was incredible! Definitely the highlight. The location was pretty good too. NOFO is in a cool area with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes nearby, but it's on a quiet street. It's a few blocks from a metro stop and walking down to the major tourist sites is also not far, but it's uphill to get back to the hotel at the end of a day of site seeing. The staff were all really friendly and helpful.

Francethe only downside of the hotel is the lack of light inside, walls are dark colored.
Very well located, lots of shops and bars around, but with a park behind and in a calm area. Our rooms were not very large, but more than enough for 2 persons. Lots of common areas all around the hotel, where you can sit and play a game or drink something. Great breakfast.

United StatesMy room was right across from a large apartment building, and right above a row of large, metal recycling bins. Starting at 4pm and going to 1am, residents of the apt building would deposit their glass recycling into the bins, which was INCREDIBLY loud and disruptive. If you book one of the suites, make sure to ask to face the park in the back of the building.
The hotel is in a great location (a really funky part of Stockholm). The room is EXACTLY like the photos, which is so rare, and the food/wine is very good. The staff are incredibly accommodating and kind.

Such a fun place to stay! Loved the fun rooms and music. Lots of quirky and thoughtful design features. Really appreciated the communal balconies on each floor - fabulous place to watch the wine bar in the courtyard below, chat, and socialise. Great breakfast. Great location in an interesting neighbourhood, yet only 5 minutes walk from the station. Lots of good restaurants around. Bed was comfy. They found us a very quiet room, as requested. Loved it!

Belgiumat check-in it would be nice to get some more information (e.g. that you can rent a bike immediately on the courtyard); furthermore it's good to know that in most rooms on the third floor you don't have a 'normal' window, so you can't really relax and look outside in your room
fantastic location, nice atmosphere, excellent rooms and great food; especially the breakfast buffet is both qualitative and quantitative outstanding; everywhere in the hotel are nice corners to sit and relax so you immediately feel at home; I'm sure if I come back to Stockholm I'll stay here again

United KingdomMost hotels these days have a policy of only changing towels when left on the floor or in the bathtub - we left the towels hanging on the towel rails and they were changed twice in four days. Our bedsheets were also changed once, unnecessarily. Heated towel rails (and floor?) in the bathroom in the summertime is unnecessary too. Changing these couple of small things would make the hotel more eco-friendly.
Fortunately we were able to upgrade to a superior room from a "tiny double", which really was tiny. I don't remember this description when booking (perhaps that was me or a booking.com issue) but noticed it on the booking confirmation a few days before. The superior room was perfect for us. The receptionist was great and sorting this out for us. Breakfast was amazing - and more than you could ever want.

FinlandNot a major issue because the majority of time is spent out and about, but there are very few channels on the room's TV, about 3 or 4 unique ones, which meant the room didn't lend itself well to hanging out in during the downtime.
Friendly staff, comfortable room, great breakfast with an assortment of options. Location is far enough from the tourist scene to avoid the press, but central enough to get where you want relatively quickly, whether you walk or take the metro (which is right around the corner).

NetherlandsThe background music that was played in the morning during breakfast was more for heartbroken 18 year-olds and teenagers than the adults guests of 30+. Could they consider (modern) British, French or American artists or instrumental music for a more positive and neutral mood?
I prefer boutique hotels over the corporate chains and NOFO has such personality. This is the 2nd time I stayed here as I loved it so much. The wine bar is an absolute soul saver when you arrive knackered and need to relax, re-hydrate and orient yourself to the surroundings. The bartender made a fabulous mock-tail for me. Each floor has a different theme and every room is styled differently. Bathrooms have fabulous lighting, full length, makeup & bathroom mirrors, and large showers with both rain & hand held heads. Breakfast is a COPIOUS spread with waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries, breads, crackers, fruits, granolas, yogurts, the list goes on...and I am not a breakfast eater but make an exception here. Staff is fabulous from morning till night. Will definitely stay here again.
