How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

some might say that the location is a bit outside, which is partly right, nonetheless, the hotel is easily reachable by public transport so no issues. the only things to mention are that the rooms temperature is controlled centrally, so for us, it was rather too warm and you cannot open the windows only slightly tilting is possible.
beautiful design, delicious breakfast, and good location. the bed is comfy, the room is cozy and well decorated. the bathroom is great, everything is provided including a blow dryer. WiFi is working well.

The room temperature was quite high, and the adjustments we tried to make didn't seem to work. However, that didn't bother us so much that we would have contacted the staff for assistance.
Breakfast was good, and special diets (vegan, gluten free) seemed to be taken into account very well. We were a bit surprised that there was no warm porridge served there, it would have been perfect for the baby of the family.

Very vast choice on the breakfast buffet with lots of healthy choice as well, and a very nice vieuw on their gardens. At nite the Hotel restaurant was also serving amazing food and good service. Very happy with all things.

A bit far from the center - if you go by public transport you will have to change two or even three bus/tram lines, so it was cheaper for us to buy a multi-day pass.
The floors in the common corridors are covered with carpets - so the room is quite quiet - you can’t hear any footsteps or luggage outside.

The location while not optimal, being fairly far out from tbe city center, was made terrible by all the surroinding construction. To get to the hotel from the bus stop you either had to walk blocks around the construction zone or climb up to the hotel on a muddy, steep, unpaved path. We did not go out after dark as returning to the hotel was too cumbersome.
The breakfast was excellent. The facilities were also very good. We especially liked that the tv in the room was a smart tv so we could use YouTube. The staff were all very nice, professional, and accommodating.

Everything was amazing!!!!
The property is modern clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and they had a wide range of food options. Annika was a lovely member of staff who was accommodating and so polite. We asked for a late checkout and it was given with no fuss.

A bit far from the center, u have to use train always to get somewhere
Nice room with all the facilities, exceptional breakfast 😋, 2 min from the train station which makes it easy to get wherever u want. Very clean and fancy hotel

Every aspect was perfect. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is excellent, both during the breakfast and dinner. The hallways and rooms are clean on arrival and are cleaned every day. The beds are very comfy, and all of the facilities provided in the room were totally functional. The location is also great as you can catch public transport to the city center and be there in 10-15 mins. You have a large shopping mall 5 mins from the hotel, so really the hotel and the location provided everything you need for a perfect stay.

The rooms were really nice and the beds were very comfy. The bathroom facilities were great. Overall a great value for money. Also, very close to the nearest tram station and only a 15-20 minute walk away from a ferry that takes you to the centre of the city.

The hotel would have been an ideal place to stay if it hadn’t been so far from the city centre and if the railway branch closure for repairs had been communicated in advance by the property.
