How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It's a bit dated. No safe. The reception didn't have sewing kit. I don't like that it was bathtub instead of shower (uncomfortable, slippery and encourages waste of water and energy). Sheets should be larger so that they better cover the entire bed and matress, (only the thin top mattress was covered and that's not very hygienic). The wooden floor needed a good refreshing.
Nice Old style hotel.Good that windows can be opened. Quiet room to the backyard. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

There didn't seem to be a bar area
Excellent location in Central Malmo. Lots of restaurants close by in the square.

The rooms are a bit dated. Reminded me of being in a cruise ship.
Excellent large breakfast buffet. The location of the property couldn't be better. It's right in the heart of town and just blocks from the train station.

Check in was extraordinarily slow. I waited about 25 minutes in line. At the prices they are charging, they can afford to put another person at the check-in counter. It was absurd.
The best thing about this hotel is its location, right in one of Malmo's main squares. You can easily walk to restaurants, the pedestrian shopping street, caffes, etc.

Check-in starts at 3PM, and if you arrived 1 hour earlier - still you have to pay extra even if the apartment is empty.
1) Location. It took me minutes to get to the required place; 2) Really nice atmosphere; 3) Delicious breakfast.

Breakfast was not good. Very greasy bacon. The scrambled eggs were very slushy. I got a slice of brown bread that was mouldy.

The wooden style wasn’t for me but that’s personal choice.
Perfect location on the main square in Malmo. Plenty of choice at breakfast and a nice space to eat. Staff dealt quickly and effectively with an issue with our room.

Cleaning by request only. Small TV.
Great hotel. Good location in the city center. Good shower and fast internet. Big breakfast. Ask for a new room. The old rooms with the carpets are very old-fashioned.

Rooms didn’t have kettle or fridge and pretty basic .. bed had a very soft mattress . Was in one of the newer style rooms.. quite good sound proofing and pleasant.. but tv tiny and in a very odd position for viewing . The carpet on the main stairway was threadbare .. it’s quite a lovely feature but looks very dilapidated because of this.
Position on main square and very near central station.Breakfast was nice . . All staff were very friendly and helpful .. hotel had made a great effort for Eurovision but because of this event hotel was hugely overpriced.

Hotel was in a great location close to the central train station and the main shopping area. The room was so spacious and offered great value as a result for a group of 3 but it could comfortably take a fourth. The staff were very friendly and we were shocked to find our towels replaced daily which was a nice touch. The breakfast had a broad selection of options and everything was very tasty

Bathroom shower/tub had a leak which created a small puddle that had to be contained with a towel. Discovered that desk chairs being moved on the floor created a loud shuddering sound which was the cause of a lot of noise from neighboring rooms.
Room was nice with room for separate desk and chair in addition to seating area (one chair). Bathroom was spacious and included breakfast had everything I needed.

The room I had on the 4th floor was a bit cold, with a cold hard floor (no carpet)! Could feel a cold draft in the bathroom. Shower was tricky to get to the right temperature and well substandard. Only a small selection of beers at the bar. I did expect a higher standard given its ratings...
Staff were nice and helpful. Everywhere looked clean.

The personal could be more interested- some more action..the walls in the restaurant t need to be painted .. a lot of coffee spots and others stoff.. not nice..and the sauna could need a male over - nice that the space are there ..
