Very charming hotel with great rooms, excellent views, friendly and hospitable staff and a very nice breakfast buffet - even though we were the only guests that night, a full buffet was prepared for us. Also games and toys available for the kids. We felt very welcome. My best recommendations.

If there would be anything negative, it would be that it took a very long time to get warm water.

It's rare to see a B&B that has such a modern and high standard. With such a high class of interior (both in room and bath room) and a quiet surrounding, the whole stay was very pleasant and my sleep was unusually good. I got a personally adapted breakfast by candle light. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in this region.

The hotel felt like a warm house. The setup with shared kitchen and bathroom made it feel like a family home with all the guests as one family.

Not the best place to bring young children. It seems like most of the guests came there for the calm and quiet atmosphere, and we felt like we didn’t really fit in with our kids being loud as kids are.

the ad says 'sound proofing'. Strange because I could hear things falling of floor, people walking over wooden floors, doors closing and voices from another room. This may be inherent to a wooden house. Luckely all the guests behaved very well so it did not bother me.. but you could be out of luck if a 'lively' family is staying here at the same time.

The place has a very nice rural atmosphere, The two common rooms in the house promote social interaction between guests which I usually like. There are no distractions like a tv's on the wall that are never switched off. Everything breathes quality, good taste and a high standard.

The location is idyllic, the property is the ultimate experience of Swedish rural life, and the cleanliness is exceptional. Last but not least, the host Malin welcomed us with passion and a big smile, and provided us with amazing tips and recommendations. Really great experience, and we already rebooked it for next month :) I highly recommend it!

Very nice reception, great room with great views over the countryside, great breakfast (lactose free products added even last minute), basket with childrens toys which were enjoyed by my son, great garden to relax and chill or run around.

We stayed downstairs for one night and it was a bit loud at night with some staff sitting in the kitchen until late. If youre upstairs it's more peaceful.

The property itself is beautiful, looks so much better in person. Nice views, extremely clean, great breakfast.

Very nice place in the countryside close to Karlstad. Everything was sparkling clean (and new!) . The breakfast was good and it was good we could store our own food in the fridge. The kitchen was very well equipped, and had everything we and our daughter needed :) The place was lovely, you can tell the owners have a good eye for detail. We will definitely stay there again if we pass by Karlstad on any trip in the future.

Nothing, it was parfect !

The place was brand new. All was very clean, the room very comfortable, and the shared bathroom very clean as well. The host were very kind. We arrived late and the connected lock made our late arrival very easy.

Shared bathroom is always a bit of a hassle, but taken the price into consideration it is okay.

Very cosy hotel. Newly renovated and very friendly staff. Very good breakfast, no barn dishes though. The hotel is unmanned in the evenings. Snack bar only accepts Swedish Swish payment, but it is possible to arrange for card payment with owner.

Its a bit remote, i didn't explore, but it looks like not much to do around. Shower and bathroom is on the hallway. But its all so homey and clean that it was no difference to me.

The typical swedish country house in the apple tree orchard is fabulously renovated, a beautiful warm modern interior and still very authentic. I was absolutly pleasantly surprised. Haven't seen this often on my travels. Even flowers in the room. The view from my window was an old red swedisch house, the orchard, and endlessly far open fields. Oja and its super clean, perfect bed, nice shower, very silent (heavy isolated doors) very friendly owner and if i start talking about the big, lovely breakfast you must think i am paid to write this but I'm not!
