Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

SwedenA giant swimming pool would be a lovely addition! But seriously, we loved our stay and thought every aspect was top quality. No negatives at all from us.
Far better than we even expected, the glamping tent was so comfortable and luxurious, everyone in the family really enjoyed it! The garden was huge and had some fun family games like badminton and boule. The location was very picturesque and relaxing. The bathrooms were top quality, clean and available at all times, as were the refrigerators for the guests too. The owner and her family were very friendly and approachable and made sure we had everything we needed. We recommend this so highly, it is a magical location, we aim to be back next year!

DenmarkSörby Glamping is a work in progress. Not all facilities are completed, but the toilet and bathing facilities are very good, and with the magnificent tents you won´t notice or mind the things that are not finished.
The location is very idyllic, very close to the Göta Canal and taking an evening stroll along the canal is highly recommended. The toilets are very good and very clean, and the kitchen facilities are OK. But the glamping tents are absolutely why you should stay in Sörby Glamping. The tents are very spacious, and have large and very comfortable beds. Each tent has its own design and decor. Very charming. Karin is a very friendly and attentive host, helping you in any way she can. Sörby Glamping is only 20 minutes by car from two large cities, Linköping and Motala. Taking a detour to visit this lovely and relaxing place is woth your time.

FinlandConstruction workers started working at 7am. It was our fist glamping experience. With this price range I didn't expect we would need to wash dishes (or then we misunderstood Karin). It is not possible to reach the place with a low car due to bridge close to the place. With a low car you might need to walk the last couple of hundred meters. Didn't see mention about that in the description of the glamping place.
The tents were really nice and comfortable. Son said he slept better than at home. Rain didn't bother at all. Lots of possibilities for kids to spend time (trampoline, slack line and many games).

LatviaVery friendly and welcoming host and her family. Cosy atmosphere and closeness of nature (of course, that includes few harmless bugs). Each tent has its own style. Tents are well equipped (water, tea, coffee, extra-blankets, heater etc). We had small picnic with fried sausages at night, there is open-air fireplace and picnic area for that. There are also several clean showers & wc. Canoeing is also available in the nearby canal. Kids enjoyed this place very much.
