There was nothing I didn't like but the shared spaces could have been decorated more invitingly.

Systrar&Bönor was located in a beautiful old building on a pedestrian zone. Our room had nice beds and everything was clean. The shovers and toilets were close and we hardly saw anyone else there. The breakfast was the high point of our day! They changed it a bit every morning and we enjoyed taking the breakfast plates to the terrace.

Since the rooms are noisy and the doors are heavy and loud, we couldn't sleep very well. (Of course that will also dependent on the location of your room. Ours was close to a toilet.)

The communication with the hosts is extraordinary friendly and we loved the option to independently check-in. The location was just optimal to reach the ferry. The breakfast bag was more than great! Thank you very much!

Very friendly staff (prepared a bag with breakfast for me as I had to leave early). Great location (directly in the city center). Port and trains station can be reached within 5 minutes by foot. Room was clean and very spacious.

It was exactly what it advertises to be. Perfect for someone to stay at before catching a ferry. Plus bedroom was clean, comfortable and quiet. Sharing a bathroom was rather like camping - fine. And the packed breakfast was quite adequate.

Cyclists beware: they have No safe/enclosed bicycle parking. When I initially asked, i was told I needed to reserve a car space in a public garage for 100 Kr!! I said i was a single traveler with a folding bike and they then said i could bring it up to my room. I did this but it was very inconvenient (I am a senior with back issues). Also the door to my room was extremely heavy and there was no door stop or other means to hold it open while bringing my belongings in/out. I was ok with the tiny room and the shared toilet/bath--i knew about this in advance and realize it saved me money. But the position of the bed in the room made it impossible to sit up (lengthwise) in bed to read.

They have a narrow checkin time window, they did let me keep my luggage with them while I toured the town - waiting for the room. Staff is nice enough, definitely showed patience as we tried to communicate between Swedish and English

I liked the location, kind of an old section of town, but the town itself isn’t that big, but of unique thing. The place itself was also quite nice

Very warm welcome. The mattress was super comfortable. We had to leave early for the ferry so our breakfast bag was put in the fridge to grab. Great idea. The coffee station is also a great idea

Beds were a bit too hard which is always a downer.

We were offered two rooms and both were perfectly fine. Shared bathroom/toilet, one which was used by the café guest. That particular toilet was not very nice upon arrival, but there was another one that we could use. Overall clean and nice.

- bed was very squeaky which made turning a fairly noisy exercise - not enough toilets and sinks. had to brush teeth while guests from the cafe were using the same toilet which was very strange - breakfast was, though enough, a bit weirdly organized with no “customization”. This led to me throwing away good food (ham and a boiled egg) because I didn’t want it in the first place

- booked a bit last minute but was called straight away to arrange check-in procedure which worked a charm - rooms are spacious and nicely decorated - very good location in the center of town - showers and toilets on the hallway were clean and easily accessible
