It was the perfect place to experience the quiet and remote part of Sweden. The old-fashioned and well crafted loghouses matched the natural and cultural environment. Everything has been taken care of and has been well thought so that you could just come and relax. The owners are lovely and considerate people. We definitely com again! "Alles gut!" ;))

Incredible place in the middle of the nature, run by a lovely couple. Only a few cottages, at least 50 meters apart from each other, next to a wildly streaming small river with rocky bottom. Really ideally to dip yourself in while taking a sauna, which you lit yourself with woodlogs. It is completely quiet around you. You can sleep with open door.

a lot of mosquitos but this is always the case in summer in the countryside in Sweden and has nothing to do with the accomodation

Nice welcome and tour by the very friendly host, beds more comfortable than expected when sleeping in a cabin ( also for hotel staying types like me :) ) a lot of privacy but also not "scary alone in the woods :) " since there are always some people around there is no reception which is really nice to disconnect from your cell phone for a few days sauna and fireplaces where you can make your own bonfire

We had a brilliant stay in Rolf and Kathy's cabin. They were very helpful and friendly, and Rolf showed me a fishing spot where we were able to catch dinner. The cabins are very well made and have utensils, pots and pans for the small kitchen. There is a working (gas powered) fridge and the long drop toilets were hygenic and clean. Oh and I can't forget the sauna - which was fantastic. The area is beautiful, there was a roe deer doe that gave birth to two babies whilst we were there, and there were cranes and whooper swans on the river. Would highly recommend a stay here if you want a taste of rural life and are comfortable being 20 miles from the nearest shop.

I cannot think of a sngl thing, honestly.

Super quiet in full nature. Very warm welcome, non-intrusive, perfect host. Beautiful +++ self-constructed wooden lodges. One of the best lodges ever. Nice fishing for small perch.

There is totally nothing negative to say. If this kind of accommodation is your thing, there is no chance you will be disappointed.

Still cannot find the right words to describe this accommodation. I will dream about this place long after leaving it, it is just totally awesome place where to stay. Owners are super friendly and really care about you, they were wiling to wait for us for a little bit later check in. Logs are available for free. I am a hiker and it is very hard for me to admit there are better places to sleep than my tent, but this is definitely one of them - the whole experience was just like sleeping in a wilderness hut in the middle of national park. Big plus for no electricity. Please keep this place alive, I want to keep coming back! Kudos for creating this and opening it for others.

    Couldn´t think of anything.

Great place to relax and go fishing and hiking. The owners, that also run the place, are fantastic and really go out of their way to make sure that you have a good stay. That you can bring your pet, in our case our dog, so that the whole "family" can join.

The cabin has a beautiful location in a very remote area in the middle of the forest, next to a river. It was so nice to stay over in the super cosy cabin, equipped with a fireplace to keep us warm. We cooked outside on the fire as well and loved the sauna(!) and dipping in the river. Rolf and Käthy are really the most wonderful and kind hosts. They have built this entire place by hand, and the craftsmanship is simply outstanding. They helped us with recommendations for nice walks in the area and made amazing breakfast too. You can tell their heart and soul is in this place and it was an honour for us to be able to enjoy their little paradise for a few days. For anybody who loves nature, and wants to spend some time off the grid to relax, this is a must-visit place!

Great getaway! Very authentic, cozy, romantic and with many lovely details. Fireplace and oil lamps inside. campfire site outside near each cabin. In the middle of a forest and directly on the riverside. High hygiene standard in the toilettes and common facilities. It’s a camping site but with much privacy. We were woken up at 7 in the morning by a squirrel scratching on the cabin roof :) Nice experience. Highly recommend!

Due to location, mobile signal is non-existent (not really a problem for me for one night). Sign at the bottom of the track was not visible from the main road.

Wonderful cabin (stuga) in quiet location and the owners were very nice and accommodating. Unusually for cabins, cleaning at the end of your stay is included.
