We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beautiful location, located right at the beach. The hotel has a nice and spacious garden where children can play. The room was nice, cosy and clean.

GermanyThe room was on the sunny side and there is no airconditioning only ventilators, so it can be hot in the room, but the ventilator solution was a good option to get some cooling.
The Location is perfect, close to the beach and enough free parking space. The owners are very nice and friendly, the rooms are very cosy and from the room with balcony you can see the sea. Breakfast and evening dinner are great, the choice for the food is various and enough. Would come back again.

NetherlandsSince it is a small hotel the finishing of the details is not always what you see at the big hotel chains, but I really enjoyed the hotel much more than many of the big names..
Location next to the beach is fabulous, although we were on a business trip. WiFi is sufficient, and the breakfast was surprisingly good for such a small hotel. The room was very clean and everything you need was there, including a good filled mini-bar. The people who run the hotel are very friendly and try to make their guests happy all the time. Really a recommendation this cosy hotel at the beach !!
