The facilities need an update. Not the newest.

The hotel was great for a budget friendly hotel. The staff was very helpful. They let us use there umbrella when it rained. Its extremely close to the subway and bus stops. Also a hawker stations are not far away either. They have a restaurant right beside the hotel.

The bed wasn't too comfortable, had something stiff going across in the middle, but it wasn't too bad either. The bedding had some stains which I've noticed on the last day. When we were checking the receptionist wasn't too nice, he seemed like he was upset that some guests arrived. But it was only one person, the rest of the team was really nice and helpful

If you're staying in Singapore, don't want to pay a fortune for a bed, but don't want to sleep in a capsule at the same time, New Cape Inn is a good choice. It's nothing fancy, but you get what you pay for - the room had bathroom, fridge, AC, toiletries. It's conveniently close to a 7-11 and a metro station with 3 lines, so you can travel across Singapore with much ease

I would say good value for Singapore. In nice neighbourhood. Not a big room but big WC with good shower and quiet.

Furniture was very dated, staff in the morning has problems with communication and charge us for early check in and we understood it s for deposit not for early checkin otherwise we should have get some receipts, we argued and staff at check out return us the money.

I felt the carpets were stinking a bit in the hotel and the building is old…the bathrooms could be renovated.

The property was located in a perfect area closer to MRT and was comfortable to commute.

I've stayed in this hotel in 2018 and 2019. Things at that time were so good. Clean, full of facilities. but now i'm back. it gave me a little of shock. Floor was old and look a bit dirty. Wall lamp didn't work. only see 1 lamp. the wardrobe was hard to slide. The toilet door is damaged, feel like it gonna fall down when you pulled it. and the important thing is the price were too high for those thing i have.

The location of this hotel is nearest to the new MRT, bus station, food center. just 3-5 mins walk. Rather quite.

The staff. There's no room service. The housekeeping staff doesn't do their job properly. Everytime you have to ask for water bottles and the staff asks you to go down to the lobby to get it.

The location is peaceful, away from the main roads. It's near 2-3 bus stops and a metro station which makes it easier to commute.

1. Nearby no Indian restaurant so u need to keep your breakfast 2. House keeping is not done on daily , every two days and for us it went upto three days 3. Room on entry smells I think carpet not cleaned

A couple of the lamps were broken. Also, the wifi was a little slow for my purposes.

The room was clean and the staff were very accommodating. The AC was good and the view was nice.

The carpet is looking tired and the furniture comes out of the 1970's. Some people might like this and call it retro.

The location is near a really good local Hawkers food markets where we had breakfast everyday. Yum! The rooms were spacious enough for three of us. The room was quiet and the air conditioner was really good. The WiFi was quite good. The hotel is near Havelock MRT so it made it really easy to get around Singapore by MRT and bus. The MRT is the best way to get to the airport. Taxi's are too expensive in Singapore compared to the rest of Asia. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

The room is out dated, carpets were filthy, almost didn't want to take my shoes off, for the price we paid rm 1,000+ I feel it could do better, the rooms of course looks very presentable online, but when you get there it's a whole different story, toilet was reasonable clean and dated, but the room tells a whole different story, TV doesn't work, the network cable was broken so no TV in room, carpet is in bad shape, needs cleaning or better yet changed! The furnitures are all dated and old looking. Overall not worth the money. The only good thing about this hotel is that it offers 3 single beds as there were 3 of us travelling. A

No electricity kettle, and no tea bags either, which was different from the booking.com website. The water kept reeking from a toilet shower. Only the beds were clean, unfortunately, the others were not so good.

The staff was helpful. And the location was pretty nice. We had breakfast at Tiong Bahru Market every day; we enjoyed the various local dishes. The nearest MRT station was Havelock; we could see the entrance of the station from the hotel.

The room was obviously not clean enough. Especially in the shower room, lots of hairs are on the wall and shower head.

The price was reasonable, the location is close to centre of the city, and there are Chinese restaurants nearby.
