It would've been good to know that while the hotel says it's pet friendly everywhere, dogs are not allowed to the restaurant - so the only options are leaving them in the room or going to eat one after another so one can stay with them. Honestly would not have booked if I had known in advance, as it felt a bit icky to pay 25€/night just for my dog to be stressed out alone twice a day. Additionally, the parking is quite far from the hotel rooms themselves, so if you have more than a bag with you, it's a real workout:/

Stunning hotel! Beautiful rooms, perfect location within walking distance to both Piran and Portoroz city centre and great views. The food was varied, fresh, and high quality, although drinks at dinner are not included. Overall a great stay!

The food was very good, but we indicated gluten sensitivity when booking, unfortunately it was not bossible either at breakfast (bread, pastry) or dinner (dessert) Food were also not marked for food allergies. This is basic requirement today.

The configuration of the hotel is somehow strange as there are a lot of rooms and only a few floors, meaning the halls/corridors are very long, and to reach the furthest rooms, it is quite a walk, which some people might find not very convenient. The remote control did not work, but I was there only for one night, so TV was not a necessary amenity.

I have been staying in this hotel a few times, and most likely will be again. Friendly and helpful stuff; fast check-in and check-out. The rooms are very nicely decorated and just the right size with lots of storage space. Perfectly located between Piran (2km) and Portoroz "Center" (2km), it is therefore convenient for a nice evening/morning stroll.

My stay at Histrion was amazing and i liked everything. Big shotout to hotel staff for making our stay pleasurable and making us feel appriciated and welcomed. Hotel room was perfect and view from blacony is amazing. Breskfast buffet was perfect and i really enjoyed scrambled eggs. Hotel pool and spa were amazing and we enjoyed Finish sauna which have amazing view.

The staff are nice and helpfull. The room was clean and comfortable. It has everything you need ( towels, slippers, shampoons, vanity set,shower cap, bathrobe, hair dreyer.. ) The price include the swimming poools with sea wather. You can also use wellnes, against to payment.

We really liked the cuisine and the kindness of the staff. The hotel is located in a strategic position and allows beautiful walks in both directions. The hotel was renovated a few years ago. For the children the most fun thing is certainly the pools.

Not enough places to park for free. about 10% of the hotel's capacity. The rest of the parking is paid 10 euros per day. The puppy, even if it is small, is paid 25 euros per day.

The accommodation is very well located, clean, the hotel is full even in the off season. It is easy to reach the center.

Some minor changes since last year where that the minibar is now only equipped on request, which we didn't know before arrival. And a broken hairdryer which was replaced. I would like to underline that everybody is friedenly and helpful in case of any issues.

This was our third stay in this hotel and everything was absolutely perfect again. I want to highlight the pool area with its view to the sea, which is amazing to be at the cold winter time. Also we traveled with our four year old son who enjoyed the food and the childrens pool area.

I have no negatives. I will allow myself only one recommendation: on the Internet, when searching for information about the pool complex, it would be appropriate to emphasize more the incomparability of the new, modern, huge and excellent pools with salt water. When we were looking for a comparison between the pools in the city and the Hotel Histrion when ordering, it wasn't obvious how big and amazing the pools at the Histrion are. It's a shame, it would certainly appeal to others. We are very glad that we chose Histrion and not the hotels in the city.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Hotel staff very nice and accommodating. The swimming pools with sea water is huge and perfect. The rooms are modern and comfortable. A really great experience, we will look forward to staying again next year.

- room was nice, but not comfortable at all. I came home even more tired then I was before vacation. I booked room with large double bad, but got two single beds. - beds are in bad condition, pillows too hard (I asked for another, receptionist said he will check and they will bring it, but I didn't get one, don't know the reason, I got feeling they don't even care) - there was also very cold at night! I tried to raise temperature, didn't work. I don't even know, if there was any heating in the room. Bathroom was warm.

- great location, nice sea view, short walk to Portorož or Piran - I've never seen so friendly maids before - with the biggest smiles on their faces, and very helpful! they made my day every time I saw them - very nice room, clean and bright with relaxing ambient lighting and big balcony - pools are relaxing, very nice and clean with sea view (very nice at sunset), water temperature perfect for swimming, staff in pool bar is very friendly, - lots of relaxing areas in hotel, all with sea view and comfortable sofas - in the hallway there is bin for separation waste, very nice way to support sustainble tourism! - breakfast delicious, various selection of food, lots of staff there, very friendly, they clean all the time
