How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The shower is tiny even compared to other 3 stars but we managed!
This hotel is one of the better priced hotels in the area. It is good value for money. It is not a 5 star hotel but you're not paying 5 star prices. The receptionist is extremely friendly and upon arrival we were luckily upgraded to a luxury room. The receptionist always offered to help and provide assistance where necessary. The room had an amazing view of the mountains and the area itself was so calming. The room was spacious and cozy. We absolutely loved the stay. The hotel is a short walk from Lake Bled and the restaurants . There was a small breakfast buffet which had the core breakfast items.

Check in time, can be complicated not in my case.
All around is amazing 😍 10 minutes walking to the lake. Parking spaces, close to supermarket, easy access to the main road to go for others places.

Single rooms are quite small. Not every device in the room worked
Good position, quite easy to reach. You can easily move by foot to every Bled Lake attraction. Very good breakfast

The owner welcomed us very heartily and was happy to share advice about the area. The hotel feels a bit old and its surroundings, which you can see from the large balcony, are not particularly beautiful. However, the room was spacious and clean. It was also great to be able to park at the hotel. The breakfast was nice and generous.

Double bed would have been preferred - rather than two singles pushed together.
Breakfast was decent. Location good/short walk into Bled. Our room had a balcony which was a bonus.

It would be nice if the room keys could be converted into electronic keys (cards), and if we could get two keys instead of one. Although we received parking at no additional cost, sometimes it was quite tricky to park our car at night, when all the other parking places were fully occupied. Thankfully, the kind and smily receptionist helped us out with this challenge.
Our room was spaceous and very comfortable. The terrace was lovely and the bathroom was super clean. Breakfast was generous and very tasty. The hotel is located in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood within walking distance of a nearby supermarket. Umbrellas offered to us at the entrance to the hotel proved quite useful during our stay!

Late check-in.
The accomodation was perfectly clean, with new and good quality furniture, comfortable beds. Very quiet location, good breakfast and nice hosts. Plenty of parking space.

A bit of a hike to the Lake
I arrived hot, tired and in a bit of a mood.. I unfortunately decided to take it out on the manager/owner and he pulled me back from the ledge, thanks. The balcony with the garden view was lovely.

One sir of staff was really unpleasant… super rude and all the time was correcting somehow: when I asked for information, when I was helping myself with coffee… super grumpy! The stay was not good due to that.

Cosy single room, about 15 minutes walk from Lake Bled. Local conveniences, bus stop and restaurants are a similar distance. There's an information centre about 2 mins walk away. Staff were friendly in offering advice on things to do in the area.

My only complaint would be that it was extremely humid on the night I stayed, and the room was hot. The air conditioner was noisy and clattered a lot, but didn't seem to be very effective. Maybe the system needs a service? I don't like sleeping in the heat at all though, it might have been more comfortable for someone who does! Apart from that, I enjoyed my stay.
Perfecty situated for a quick walk to Lake Bled. It's a family-run hotel (I believe), and everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was great, and the whole experience good value for money.

Upon arrival, owner offered us a free upgrade to our room on the one condition of cancelling our booking (after having paid). Thought this was strange and declined, but the room was nice

The room was too too small! There is no elevator. The owner is very tough and not smiling, too bad!
Bled is nice, supermarket near by. The room was clean.
