Even if I value the 'retro' feel it would be nice to invest into some repairs. The wall wooden paneling in our room was broken. The air-conditioning on upper level was dripping water on our balcony (unbelievable how much noise it can make during night). Overall the 'retro' feel means that majority of the furniture/equipment were really from 70s.

The location is perfect directly on the spa island. Both pools are nice and clean. The overall atmosphere is very 'retro' but that was exactly what I was looking for. So would recommend for 'old good times' feeling.

I left for breakfast at 9AM.. I didn't expect the cleaner to come in so early. By the time I came back, which was around 9:30ish, the room was "cleaned" and I found that the cleaner kindly helped herself to the small change I had on the table. It was by no means left there in a manner that indicated it was meant as a tip for the service or whatever! This should not happen. it's absolutely appalling !!!!!!!

Safety, they use vacuum cleaner plugged to electricity next to pool. Should it slip into the pool all swimmers would be electro-executed.

Booking.com info is not quite detailed: there is air-conditioning in the Hotel building- TRUE. However, it means individual AC in the rooms (when you pay daily fee for a remote controller). But the hotel complex as a whole is badly missing the Air- Conditioning- you will say that on hot, sunny days. And - in my opinion - that is actually WHY they have only 3 instead of 4 stars. To be honest, nothing else to complain about since you arrive in there for the spa and thermal baths rather than looking for comfort of the hotel interiors cooled down. I imagine, when the weather was not so hot, you might not need the AC anyway.,

variety of choices: all-inclusive means actually TOO much to eat :) We had no any special requirements, everyone of four of us was satisfied with the food quality and choices. Very nice personnel. Clean rooms. Pool bar and snacks: it is just 3 stars hotel - level but you will like it at the pool. Location: basically, it is a big "thermal bath island" and a park with nice old trees, home of birds and squirrels. You prefer a small pond with fish? It is in there. Peaceful and quiet even if the Islands is hosting a few hotels and you would expect crowds. The town is not too big but it has its own history. You will find a few nice streets with restaurants filled with people enjoying the place and time.

Iam disappointed a bit of housekeeping staff (from Ukraine) they didn’t clean our room per all this time we was there.

I enjoyed breakfast, lunch, dinner snack bar it was amazing. Very tasty and also really nice staff in the restaurant and bar, they provided amazing service. There is a lot of things to do, we even stayed one night longer. Thank you very much for amazing experience.

Well, I didn't actually stay at the Splendid - I stayed next door! When I got there I was told I was staying at the next door hotel. The rooms are very tired. They need upgrading. I was there for emergency dental treatment. So, I arrived around 4pm and left at 4am the next morning. There is no water in the room! There is no coffee making equipment. As I arrived in the Hotel Splendid's foyer - as that is where I had booked my transport from so I had to cart all my bags back there - I asked the night porter if I could have some water. He just said "no". There is a machine for water and juice but it was switched off. Why? No coffee? That was a No too! I was on an all-inclusive basis. All inclusive but not a glass of water?

The bar and restaurant staff were lovely.

Old hotel couldnt sleep because of bugs broken shower. Curtain rail of bathroom fell on my head and door lock of bathroom broke thankfully room mate helped me out.

I made a reservation ať the Ensana Splendid Hotel, but we were accommodated in the lower quality Ensana Grand Hotel. When I asked ať the hotel reception why they do it they didn't pay attention to me ať all. ..the purpose od our visit was to rest - refugees from Ukraine were accommodated on the lower floors,.Věry poor all inclusive.

The resort has healing mud and thermal water,which has really proven healing properties
