A very nice hotel, just in the heart of the city of San Marino. Totally recommend to stay here. Friendly stuff and everything is close to the hotel. Breakfast was good, and miss a dinner in the hotel's restaurant.

Only a few comments; It would have been much nicer for me if the mineral water in the fridge was free and there was a safe box in the room.

The location of the hotel is perfect; in the heart of the old city listed on the UNESCO World Heritage, walking distance only one minute to the Palazzo Pubblico, two or three minutes to the panoramic view point next to the ropeway station, Tourist Information and National stamps and coins shop, etc. At the same time the environment is rather tranquil and peaceful. Room was clean and well maintained. Madam at the reception was very kind to recommend me for several restaurants and reserved a table for me. Sweet breads at the breakfast were also tasty.

Unfortunately the terrasse restaurant was closed on the day we were there. I had chosen this hotel for that experience so was disappointed.

There was some noise at night but that isn't the fault of the hotel. Perhaps some fresh juices at breakfast? And the ham / cheese offering could have been better.

The hotel is in a great location, the terrace restaurant was excellent and the quality of food and service was perfect! The only thing letting the hotel down was the rooms, they are in need of updating and the air conditioning was very noisy.

We loved our stay there! The staff were really nice and offered great old world hospitality everywhere we went. We traveled by car and needed safe and secure parking. The parking was very safe in a locked garage near by. The restaurant of the hotel was also very good and has some really nice views. The breakfast restaurant also offers some old world charm which is not surprising as this is one of the oldest hotels in San Marino. All in all 10 starts from us and we would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms left much to be desired. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows flat and the decor dated. The single paned windows are in dire need of replacement and did little to muffle the outside noise (the clock bell begins at 6 in the morning and continues every 15 minutes until 10 at night). During our stay there was some severe wind on two of the nights which cause a literal wind draft to blow through the room. All in all I would suggest staying somewhere else.

The hotel is excellently located in the heart of the historic center of San Marino, just a 5 minute walk from the closest paid parking. The reception, hall and breakfast room are all beautiful and the breakfast is ample. The staff are kind and helpful. Unfortunately the beauty of this hotel is only skin deep, and upon going upstairs a very different side of the hotel appears.
