On this visit, I didn't find anything I did not like.

The location was prefect. Being in the heart of Surf City but far enough from the clubs. Yet only a 5 min walk with well lighted streets. Hotel has security 24hrs but it's not need. The breakfast was very good with a typical Salv flavor. It selection was enough for you to have a little of everything you may need. The location of the breakfast very nice, next to the to river with a bit of an ocean view.

Everything about this location was beyond what we expected. The staff from the security down to the housekeepers are super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We felt to comfortable it felt like home. Our housekeeper was amazing. Our room was always clean.

The food and drinks were pretty expensive. My friend and I had lunch when we first arrived and it was by far the most expensive meal of our entire trip! The bathroom setup was a bit complicated to share with a friend, as the toilet and shower and separate and the space in-between the two is open/exposed to the rest of the room. The room itself was a bit dark.

The facility itself is lovely, clean, and spacious. I enjoyed that there were 2 totally separate pool areas, including a space with a swim-up bar. The included breakfast is good and filling. The walk to the beach isn't far, however, there is a lot of construction along the beach near the resort currently so getting to the main block requires some wandering. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

This hotel was in a perfect location. It is at the entrance of the town of El Tunco. There are multiple pools and outdoor restaurant on the property. The property backs up to the canal which has a sidewalk that leads to the main beach in about 2 mins. Everything was pleasant and the food at the restaurant was so tasty! They were very accommodating and let us store our bags with them while we went surfing after we had checked out!

They have a jacuzzi you can reserve an hour per room and jacuzzi are suppose to be hot this one was same temperature of the pool , it was cool private area though , another thing I notice is on one side of the pool next to the other hotel or wherever it is there is a weird smell that I think comes out of the drain vent coming from that hotel they need to talk to them to rerouted going up instead on the side, it wasn’t all the time I felt it but is there randomly only when you walk pass by

I loved the stay BUT would have liked to have warm water in the shower. I showered twice and both times it was cool water, not even warm. Also, I would have loved to have a longer mirror on the wall where I could try on my outfits. Doesn’t have to be a fancy mirror. A simple $10 mirror would work :)

When is comes to the pricing of the food & drinks at the hotel as well as the excursions provided by their affiliated company Wanakos, the pricing is quite excessive. It's also important to note that any off menu order, even if using the same ingredients on the cocktail menu will be up-charged significantly (30% premium) and they aren't the best as disclosing that fact when they take your order. If this was communicated up front it would leave less of a bad taste in the mouth but the staff are all super friendly and nice to deal with so it's not an intentional thing, just a policy that could be changed fairly easily. Just be aware that you can get much better pricing for almost anything outside the resort or buy a bottle of booze and order smoothies which cost half what a drink would and then just add your own booze into it later (grab a bottle of Zacapa if you do this :).

This is definitely one of if not the best hotel in the area and maybe in El Salvador. It is well situated in El Tunco and easily walkable to a variety of restaurants, bars, convenience stores and some of the best surfing point and beach breaks around. It is also very well prices for the value provided and the included breakfast is top notch! There is a great Yoga studio next door also which has walk in classes which are great and Boca Olas is far superior to the resort the yoga studio is located in...hard to beat $27 full lobster!!

Slow drain in shower.

Location near El Tunco great. Walkable to local shops/restaurants. Grounds of facility were well maintained. Clean. Beautiful. Staff was friendly. Service at restaurant and at poolside bar was excellent. Room was clean and bed soft.

The beds are quite small. The room wasn't ready at checkin but they gave us the time back at checkout.

Breakfast is excellent. There are 5-6 options included and then you can pay a little extra for other options. Pool and jacuzzi wonderful, particularly privately booking the jauzzi.
