The room itself was great, was clean and large and had access to a kitchen. The couple/staff that were there were lovely & accommodating. They even helped to rebook a tour that got cancelled!

Fantastic location set in the most beautiful grounds. If you want noise, nightlife and crowds on your doorstep then this isn’t the place for you. If you want tranquility, nature and to relax then you can’t go wrong booking Bang Po Gardens.

We loved our stay at Bang Po Garden not only for the big room that features a small outside kitchen where you can cook but also for the tranquility of its location. Big plus are the owners which are absolutely lovely and helpful, they even drive us to the ferry terminal on our check out day. I absolutely recommend it to everyone and I will 100% stay again here when in koh samui.

The bungalow is beautiful. Very clean and it has the comfiest bed you will sleep on! Exceptional value for money. Only a 10min walk to the beach, restaurants and 7-eleven. The owners were so friendly and helpful and even dropped us to the ferry port early in the morning.

The owners were super nice!!! I can not emphasise this enough. The cottage itself was very nice, the bed was spacious and the main highlight was the garden in which the bungalows are located. It is well maintained and super clean. It has the vibe of a luxurious hut in a jungle. Even though the Bang Po village is kinda noisy ( there is busy road running thru the village ), we were not able to hear any noises, besides the nature itself. I would recommend to everyone!!!

Bang Po Garden truly deserves every one of those 10 stars. It's pretty much just as the photos here show: big detached rooms facing a lovely tropical fruit garden with an exceptionally welcoming, helpful and kind host (thank you Mr Kan!). One thing we appreciated was how our room came with its own dedicated WiFi router. We stay in a lot of these detached cottage types of rooms in Thailand and some owners try to get by with one router for several rooms which does not always work. That is not the case here and it's this very attention to detail that to me represents top notch value. We also loved the big front terrace with a table suitable for dining. The private kitchen is well equipped and Samui has some fantastic markets, so we got our own ingredients and made rice porridge with prawn as breakfast. I also appreciated having an in room desk so I could sit and check my emails inside as well. The location worked out really well as a quiet central point between the busy and lower key sides of the islands. The beach is a 5 min walk as is a convenience store and one of Samui's better seafood restaurants, Bang Por (Takho) Seafood.

I loved this place! As soon as I arrived the couple who owns it were there to greet me, and they had the kindest, gentlest energy (even for Thailand! :). I immediately felt at home. They showed me the fruit trees in their orchard and I loved how excited they were about the trees. The room (in its own little house) was perfect and super comfortable. The sheets and pillows were soft, the A/C worked well and didn't blow right on your head while you slept, and the 3/4-size fridge with separate freezer in the room was so handy. The outdoor kitchen was well stocked and even had a microwave! The bathroom's floor was well designed to drain and dry quickly after a shower, and the shower had one of those little on-the-tap water heaters that works really well. The setting was just lovely, with the orchard and flowering trees all around. I was expecting more animal sounds in the morning, but any dogs/roosters sounded pretty far away, and they didn't wake me up even though I'm a light sleeper. I also didn't hear noise from other guests -- not only are the houses spaced out, but maybe this place draws people who appreciate peace and quiet more. :) The 10-minute walk down the paved road to the beach/ring-road was peaceful and I always felt safe, even walking alone at night (there are streetlights). The only dogs were friendly and didn't approach, and the people were peaceful and kind. Great restaurants and a 7-11 were right there once you hit the street. I loved my stay and would happily return!

The location is quite far from the beach where you can swim. The nearest beach is not good for swimming in the morning and in the afternoon. You should be with a scooter or a car.

We really liked the owner and convenience in the villas. Everything was working well. It was the best place for living in Thailand (we lived in 5 other different places). The fridge is big, the small kitchen is outside and it's very comfortable. The air conditioning was working perfectly. The villas are situated in a quiet place in a nice garden.

It was a really fantastic peaceful stay, surrounded by green, and such a nice modern cozy apartment. The owner (I think Kan) was extremely kind and helpful. It was clear that he really cared and went over and above on 2 occasions. It was one of our favorite places we stayed in our 2 month trip. it's a 10min walk from the beach and the main road, but we had a scooter and also walked a few times which was really nice

Knew this going in, but keep in mind that it is more like a zimmer than a full-on resort. Could be a tad cleaner.

Several individual bungalows are located around 10 minutes' walk from the beach. The accommodation is modern, well equipped, and peaceful. The gardens, the fruits trees, and the owner deserve 5 stars. We would stay again.

I read the details of the reviews, so everything fulfilled my expectations. Some people might be put off by the fact that the property is about a 10 min walk from the beach and the road is not well lit on the way back after dark. I was fine with this - away from the main road means away from the noise, plus everyone has a flashlight on their phone nowadays. You walk back through a village, so there are people out there, it is not deserted or anything. Walking back at night actually gave me a feeling that I live in an actual local village, not a tourist hotspot, so that was really cool.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful garden setting in Bang Po village on Koh Samui. I only made a stop here because I was travelling from Koh Phanghan to Krabi and figured it might make sense to stay here for several days, but my expectations were not very high. I was pleasantly surprised in the end. The bungalow is very spacious and very clean - WiFi works great. Two sides have huge windows so you can enjoy the garden views, but also the curtains to pull over during the night. You can see the outside but the outside cannot see you due to smart design of the garden paths - I liked that a lot. There is a large fridge in the room - much appreciated. There is also a perfectly equipped kitchen outside on the patio, so you can actually peel the fruits etc without teasing the ants to come in. I loved it here and would certainly come again. There is plenty of parking and they also rent bycicles/bikes/cars, for those interested in exploring beyond Bang Po. There is a large 7/11 on the way to Bang Po beach, right on the main road turn, as well as a fruit stand, so you can easily get all the supplies you need for your stay here.

Wow, what an experience it was at Bang Po Garden! We went there having stayed at a beachfront property at Koh Samui and wish we had stayed at this place for the whole duration. The moment we stepped in our room, we felt this was more than a business. The room and ceiling were very spacious and had a full-size fridge, there was a small kitchen with all the required utensils. The garden around the property provided a proper secluded environment, far away from any noise. We could have spent a few days just staying at the property and not going out :D The owner brought us a coconut on our last day and we were told he came looking for us every morning with different fruits but we left early. He was a very humble man and explained as this property is not beachside he wanted to compensate for it with a beautiful garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we come to Koh Samui again, without a doubt I will be staying at Bang Po Garden.

Best place we have stayed in Thailand. The hotel comprises of small bungalows each with a terrace and an outside kitchen with a hot plate, kettle, cooking utensils and cutlery. The room is lovely, bed is huge and comfortable with soft linen. There is a huge fridge/freezer and great AC. The bathroom has a great shower and ample shower gel & shampoo. We stayed at a bungalow right at the end of the orchard which was super quiet and peaceful. The owner is lovely and showed us round the grounds pointing out all of the fruits that they grow. They have a small bar for drinks in the evening and coffee in the morning. They also rent scooters for 200 bhat/day - far better than other rentals, and have lots of space to park. The beach, best on the island, is a 10 min walk away and has a 7-11 nearby. The restaurants are brilliant and worth a visit.
