3rd time staying here, we really like this resort however definitely needs a few upgrades: Sun loungers around the pool are old, tired and really uncomfortable Bed are rock hard even with a topper Pool water is really hot, like a hot bath, definitely needs to be temperature controlled

Breakfast restaurant should be cleaned more often All the tables and floor dirty everyday and the staff just hanging around without doing anything about it. Food should be topped up instead of the guests having to ask to refill the buffet food

The breakfast wasnt very good, it was just a bit bland and stodgy. The Aircon units in the rooms *really* needs to be upgraded because it just doesn't get cold enough and generally there need to be some repairs made to the room because there are lots of gaps which let mosquitos in. In all whilst we enjoyed our stay, we couldn't have stayed any longer because the limited Aircon made it quite uncomfortable. The bar itself was also really odd. It didn't have many of the drinks it had on the menu (e.g. Thai iced tea) and the staff were quite rude about it.

The location was perfect and it was a very pretty setting. The staff at reception were also nice and helpful.

The bathroom is not in the AC and ours shared a wall to the neighbouring room’s bathroom, so could easily hear when the other bathroom was in use. But this is not uncommon for Thailand.

Really enjoyed our stay. The resort has a lovely island, rustic vibe immersed in nature. It’s a nice experience, with a beautiful beach and facilities. Snorkelling right off the beach is surprisingly amazing! The pool is great, has a kids section and deeper swimming area. Breakfast was good, a mix of Thai and Western dishes. Our room was spacious, and clean with good wifi and AC. Location is 5-10 mins from walking street or a 50 baht/person taxi. Staff were friendly and helpful, offering complimentary pickup and drop off at ferry. The property cat is also adorable!

Overall, I felt the employees were not very happy to be there. In Thailand islands usually they are very happy to see the guests and help a lot. I asked for help calling a taxi, they said "just go in front, there will be some". There was no taxi there, everyday was a little struggle to get one, because you gotta be lucky for thr taxi to appear. The bed sheets and mattress were not comfortable. Bedroom feels old and without good maintenance, for the price payed I expected more. There are "old" hotels with boutique feeling, not the case here. Breakfast could be a little better, it's very Asian, not so many western options.

The location is very good, on a part of sunrise beach that there are not many boats and very close to a good snorkeling area on the sea. They say the Ten Moon beach area is the best, but you are just a few steps away to go there too! We stayed on a ground level Villa, very very close to the beach, just a few steps. Of course the price came together. The front of the breakfast area is almost like a VIP place in the beach. Pool was very clean, with warm water. The bathroom in the room had great spacing, could wash clothes and hang them there. They provide the service of getting you from the ferry and bringing you back.

Terrible smelling bathroom a couple of nights which must have been a sewerage problem. Hot breakfast was cold and not very tasty.

Bed uncomfortable really hard mattress. General areas scruffy in places, a bit of general tidying up would make a big difference. Our room had stains on the floor and the fridge was rusty. The bathroom very shabby, shower was ok but water pressure very low.

Location by the beach. Lovely staff. Sun beds and parasols on the beach. Swimming pool area very nice. We had 2 family rooms F21 and F22 which had its own large balcony with table and seating.

The bathroom is large, but could be refurbished…it’s very outdated …plus we didn’t have any hot water on our last day ( which didn’t really matter as it was so hot) . Breakfast not bad, but could have more variety… for example danish pastries, real bacon ( and not floating ham in water!)

We may have been just unlucky, but we had a hard bed. Other reviewers said the beds were comfy. A bed topper would have done the trick. Maybe we should have mentioned it to the front desk but we went with it.

We loved our stay! It’s a very nice little island resort to stay, you’re not far away from anything on the island. It’s very walkable. They picked us up at the ferry when we arrived and dropped us off when we left. There lots of choice for breakfast and we ventured out for dinners In the evenings. That’s the fun of being on Loh Lipe. The staff are really kind and work very hard, we appreciated all of them. We used the pool and the beach as we were there a week. People have mentioned lack of umbrellas on the beach. The hotel has added new umbrellas. (there were new ones being brought out while we were there.) We did a private boat day trip which was fantastic!! We did an evening sunset sail which was great as well. We found live music, ate some good food, walked down the beach to the Zodiac bar to watch the sun go down. Anda was a great home base. Our upstairs pool side room was big, and very nice. We loved the Thai island charm of the resort.

The bed! Too hard. The shower. Almost no pressure.

The location was really good. Beach is just a stone’s throw away. Walking distance to the “Walking Street” … many eateries around the resort if you don’t want to eat in all the time. Breakfast was fairly varied. As good as it gets. Good that the coffee and tea are complimentary through out most of the day. The staff are really pleasant and accommodating.

The front desk could have a level of service to make up for the blemishes on the property.

Great location. Comfortable property and enjoyable experience for budget hotel. It does have an old-school charm with the Thai teak finishes and architecture. Day bartender makes up for front desk’s lack of charm.

Houses could be a bit better, especially the bathrooms (but also some night lamp would be nice). Restaurant overcharges (menu is 2-3x more expensive than outside the hotel, but also they charge around 25% extra to the prices), so after just 1 meal we decided to not eat there again - not sure why they want to lose money like that.

Great location with a very nice beach. Staff were very friendly. Houses were decent. Breakfast quite good.

Bathroom is separated by the rest of the room by 2 walls that are not built up all the way to the ceiling (so, a sort of a booth in your room. Therefore the smels and sounds of the bathroom invade the room (:)

Great location right on the beach with a nice infinity pool on the premises. Breakfast with a broad selection of foods, internatoinal and Asian. Complimentary water and coffee all day long at the beach bar / restaurant. Complimentary transfer to and from the ferry.

Bungalow right on pool side with massive windows. Guests looked in at us unless we closed our curtains! Lacked privacy. Children dominated the pool until late in the evening which due to our location of our room was annoying. Not a peaceful experience. Our room wasn't made up until late in the day and only because we reminded them!

The resort was quite small and the beach just a few steps from our bungalow. Staff nice. Village with restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Gave options for eating out. However breakfast and first night supper in the resort restaurant were good. Sea swimming good here with sandy beach on the resort but very built up. Hardly the paradise we hoped for! Two days were a good length of visit.

Gorgeous location on sunrise beach.Fab pool. Great food overlooking beach . Comfy rooms with everything we needed. 10 /15 minute walk along beach to zodiac bar and to see beautiful sunset .

On our first day we decided to eat at the hotel, and experienced that the woman working behind the bar was not that attentive. I asked if they served dinner, and she just answered yes. I proceeded then to just grab the menus myself. We waited for a while, but were still not attended so I went to order by the bar. The food came +30min later even though we were the only customers, and it was the wrong one. She gave us seafood pad thai instead of pork, and did not apologize while also charging us more as the seafood was more expensive. Not the best experience. Otherwise, the rest of the staff were super nice and we did not encounter any more problems during our stay! **Also be aware; at the time we were there, the ocean was not as calm and clean as on the other side of the island (Pattaya Beach). We spent most of our days there instead. (Nothing the hotel can do anything about)

Spacious, clean rooms. The pool is nice and big. Good breakfast. Close to the walking street where you will find lots of restaurants and shops. Generally nice staff, that were very good with kids!
