There were a few minor maintenance issues that need attending to in the rooms. Milk (as opposed to milk powder) would have been appreciated at breakfast.

The beds didn’t have any blankets, just a sheet that was stiff and not comfortable. Sometimes the bathroom sink smelled like sewage but that’s something we noticed most places in Thailand.

Breakfast was so good, the best we had in Thailand. The prices at the restaurant were very reasonable and the food was always very good. The staff were also very kind and the beach was nice.

The shower had very little pressure. The bathroom also could have been cleaned a bit better, for example, the sink had some mold that was easily removable with toilet paper, so it could have definitely been cleaned properly by the cleaning staff.

The room is very spacious and the bed is huge and comfortable. The AC works perfect. The room was very clean. This is a lovely place to chill for a few days and walk barefoot from your room to the beach. The staff is incredibly nice and the service at the restaurant is quite fast and the food is delicious. The bar/restaurant is directly in front of the sea with a great view. The sunbeds are also in great condition.

Right on the beach. Chay who worked at the restaurant is a great guy and very helpful and also the rest of the staff. Really good prices for the bungalows and tasty food at the restaurant. The beach is clean and the sun chairs are includet the price of the stay. Last year we stayed at Kantary beach restort who is a 4-star resort intil Ao Thong beach resort but really prefer the smaller Ao Thong who is much nicer. At big resorts you don’t have the same contact with the staff as the smaller family runned resorts. We will come back..

Bathroom maintenance could be improved. We were surprised to incur a 4% charge for payment by credit card as hadn’t seen details of this anywhere.

Fabulous location on the beach. Spacious 3 bed villa. Restaurant, bar and beach area immaculately maintained everyday by friendly and very helpful young staff. Lovely reasonably priced food. A special mention must go to Mitachia who goes above and beyond to make everyone very welcome.

I stayed at Ao Thong for 3 nights and the location was great to start my holiday. It was out of the way and much more peaceful than expected. The coral washes up on the shore and some look like chicken feet. I liked that. The service was great! I couldn't ask for more out of a cheap place to stay.

Breakfast was very good. We loved sitting almost on the beach each morning and evening having our meals. The hotel was on a very lovely beach and we were well catered for with sunbeds on the beach., A little way out of town but that's what we liked about it. When eating at the beach restaurant in the evening there are mosquitos, so take some precautions.

Great location, nice beach, perfect for swimming and very helpful personnel. Had one of the langer bungalows and it was very spacious. Restaurant on location serves tasty food. Booked also a snorkling trip via them and they referred to a good company which took care if a great trip. Can't wait to go back here!

During our entire stay we never once had a warm shower and even when it was cold we had nothing more than a trickle come out of the shower head. It is the most basic and most important requirement to be able to wash at the start and end of the day. One day we had no electricity or water at all. This is a matter of modernisation that needs urgent attention. some bedside lamps would also be a good idea some people do like to read in the evenings.

Location was amazing, food was good value for mine and very tasty. Beach is outstanding. Relaxing ambience. Tu,one of the waiters was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned nicely every day. Good size fridge in room with free water every day. Wifi good in room and on beach.

The bungalow was fine - although quite basic. It would be helpful to have a few more hooks and a suitcase stand. Only a top sheet was provided, and we had to tuck it in each day.

The location was really lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach, the sun beds, and eating meals close to the water's edge. We ate most of our meals there, and the food was always delicious. The staff was great - everyone was very friendly. Mr. Dang arranges tours and also provides taxi service, and we had him take us to Khao Lak Centre one day. Mr. Nueng, the owner, arranged a transfer to Ko Lanta for us at the end of our stay. All staff were kind and helpful.
