No elevator so this could be an issue for families with young kids or elderly guests ; the rooms could be renovated and freshened-up, but overall well-maintained and clean ; kids playground is oldish

It;s location is quite isolated, no where within walking distance apart from a lovely surf cafe (would recommend).

We got a taxi from Phuket airport to the accomodation for 1600baht, but on the way back to the airport, seemed like the only transport option was to book with the hotel (no Grabs were available), the hotel charges 2500baht for taxi to airport, which seemed like a lot compared to the cost of the one we got there. There were also a lot of mosquitos in the room, perhaps a flywire door would be helpful?

Beautiful beach front resort. The beach is lovely and fairly clean, but also great to have the pool overlooking the beach (some jellyfish in the ocean so pool was often preferable). Plenty of pool/beach front chairs. Great breakfast, loved the beachfront restaurant/bar. Our room was clean, big and comfortable. We were there over Songkran, the staff put on some lovely festive and fun activities which was great to be a part of

It's a beautiful location on Memories Beach and very scenic, but it is remote. There are not many alternatives to eat or shop. The nearest mini mart is 20 mints walk, and the hotel is quite pricey, so you would need a car, taxi, or scooter to get around. This is probably the one location in Thailand where I understand why people go all-inclusive. But if you just want to relax and are not bothered to venture out much, then it's perfect.

The hotel is lovely, quiet and modern. We had the swim up room, and the pool was amazing, right in the middle of the mature gardens. Beautiful beach. Immaculately clean property and really friendly staff. Memories Beach Bar does fantastic surfing lessons for kids and it's a great place to eat along with Railey 2 just next door. For best massage, go to Memories Beach Bar or walk to the little massage place next to the nearest supermarket (20 mints walk). We rented a scooter to get around as it's a bit far from everything.

The value for money of services and food is well beyond the average available locally, but for the better for the nearby local businesses, able to take advantage of the discrepancy.

The setting is incredible, a bit far from the village center, and restaurants, but ideally placed from the most beautiful beaches in Khao Lak. The staff was very nice, and included a thoughtful birthday celebration.

Lots of sun loungers all grouped together but the layout meant it was the only way to position them.

Lovely building and apartment which was wonderful with lots of space. Low rise building and lots of places to relax. We particularly liked the bar and restaurant on the beach for amazing sunsets. Also local restaurants and other beaches to explore. Short trip to the night markets.

Housekeeper or hotel staff (I wasn't sure) opened our room with their keys without permission or knocking in the morning around 8.30 am which I think it's unacceptable. We were staying for a night and check out is not until 12 pm. So they can't say they come to clean the room as we were only stay for a night! (I could understand if we stay for a few night and they come to clean the room etc.)They should have all records. Other than that all good about the hotel.

Lovely beach and they do a very good pizza and drinks. As it's our anniversary they set a lovely happy anniversary on our bed which make me feel special thank you for all that 😊

Great family resort with pretty good food options. New Year’s party was a little outdated but entertaining none the less. Would definitely book again.

Because they were overbooked, we had to stay at another hotel nearby for 1 night. They did compensate us well so it was okay. But it was a downside.

Lovely complex in a beautiful garden setting. It is very well kept and child friendly. Also the staff is very friendly with kids. Quite big complex, but it never feels crowded. Big plus is the noodle bar at breakfast. Yam!

The beach chair is always full. Everyone reserved it in the morning. If I missed it, I couldn't get the chair whole day.

It is in an isolated place which was a huge plus for me. The beach is just wonderful. It's not a place for party goers but for those willing to chill and maybe surf in the right time of year- perfect.

Apsara is beautifully located in Pakarang. Breakfast is lovely and so is the staff. Great for a slow paced get away. Far from the city center, which is nice. Located close to Memories beach bar on the beach which is a plus. I always enjoy staying at Apsara.

Everybody from cleaner to manager is very friendly and always smiling. The front desk staff was a bit too dreamy (except when providing the bill at checkout). After having forgotten the key inside the room, it took 15+min for someone to come over and open the door as no spare keys are provided.

Great location - off the beaten track, but local taxis bring you to nearby towns and markets within 15-20 minutes. Surfing is excellent for beginners trying to get a bit better - the beach is endless and super clean. Waves come in very regularly and on some days just like clockwork. A great beachfront restaurant plus surfing school and board rental are less than 5min walk down the beach. Hotel food is excellent - the Mediterranian themed restaurant facing the beach serves authentic fresh food at a fair price.

What a place. Beautiful. Outstanding. Faultless. The beauty of Thailand was an absolutely breath-taking gift only enhanced by the staff at the hotel, from housekeeping to grounds-men to kitchen and hospitality, everyone was impeccable. Just a few mentions for particular staff – Emee, Melchie and Mark on the front desk and Yodu and the staff at the villa side restaurant. The environment was wonderfully kept. The wildlife enchanting and being able to wander freely among all the super landscaping to explore the nature hiding among villas, by pathways and in the vegetable gardens. Our villa become our home. It was perfectly suited in space and comfort. The housekeeping team kept it immaculately clean and made special efforts to make us feel welcome. And so to the food. . . For goodness’ sake: how are we ever going to recover from the exquisite standard and amazing variety that was provided for us? We consider ourselves to be unbelievably fortunate to have experienced the spectacular events that were Christmas and New Year. As if the stay wasn’t memorable enough. Those evenings were beyond our wildest expectations. I sincerely hope we can return. Special note, if you are looking for excursions please see Mr Pod at the Memories Beach Bar (2 minutes walk from the hotel), his service is also second to none.
