Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThese room will all need a remodeling before too long but fine for now. I've stayed here twice and will stay again.
By far the lowest prices on a hotel, this nice so close to the BRT. The rooms are nice enough, not fancy but clean. Great selection for breakfast.

IndonesiaThe room is old, with the carpet that looks like I'm transported to the 90s- no biggie though.
Location was central, easy to get around. Staff were professional and polite. Best value for money, as I was in Bangkok just for a transit.

PhilippinesThe lobby smells terrible. Smoking should not be allowed outside the designated smoking rooms. When you exit the elevator, the smoke hits you like a bomb to your nose.

United KingdomOverall the hotel could do with a bit of updating....but it is good value for the location. Swimming pool needed a good clean, especially the wall tiles at surface. And ladder at deep end had a rung missing.
Great choice at breakfast. Convenient location and staff helpful booking a taxi to the airport at the going rate.

United KingdomThe hotel is quite old fashioned and dated however for the money it is decent. Didn’t like the fact that the swimming pool is closed at 6pm. After a day out it is impossible to relax in the pool.
Great location. Comfortable room and bed. Value for money. Breakfast included in the price.

United KingdomThe bathrooms need renovating: old baths, shower fixed in an unsuitable position, didn't look clean purely because of age. The pool area is poorly kept with an abandoned building, rubbish in the kiosk, surrounds not inviting. Pool itself fine but goes from very deep to very shallow in a short distance. Breakfast OK but the same every day. Boring. The hotel has so much wasted space.
Great location on Soi 24, five minutes walk to Sukhumvit and the BTS, 7-Eleven very close. The room was fine and had everything that was needed. Staff helpful.

United KingdomTV channels and sound/picture quality are still probably the worst of any hotel I have stayed at in Bangkok.
Breakfast was simple but more than adequate. Tried to accommodate all tastes and preferences. The room I stayed in this time seemed to have been simply refurbished in part but I may be mistaken. It just seemd nicer than the last one I remember. I will often use Ariston when I need to be in mid-Suk for personal business. I love the fact that I can park my car here with no hassle and it is reasonably convenient to access the expressways that I use.

PakistanThe room is too dark and it kind of feels spooky. I still like it since it’s spacious and great value. The cleaning was just ok. The amenities such as shower gel, cotton buds, and shower caps were not replaced during my 4 night stay. The pool area should be cleaned more frequently. Every time I went, I saw garbage like cigarette and water bottles that previous guests left at the tables.
The room was spacious and I really like how the TV has multiple Japanese channels. The breakfast is great, with the egg station and freshly steamed dumplings. The reception staff and the security guys were very attentive and helpful. I also like the big bath in the suite. Location is excellent. Many Japanese people staying at this place.

United StatesIf anything to be more of a note to improve, I struggled with how it's noticeably awkward to always eat breakfast in silence being able to hear only air conditioner and quiet tv news along with staff small chat from time to time in a spacious dining room that made me feel extra self conscious whenever my silverware clinked and felt a little bad for staff who just stood off to side in awkward boring silence the entire time when not clearing tables... I'd like to highly suggest they play some nice background music of any kind at least to make it less awkward and become more of a comfortable atmosphere to relax a bit during morning breakfast, please! 2 of us shared a double room and the one small toilet paper roll ran out often, so I'd suggest to always have cleaning staff make sure to provide at least minimum 2 full rolls on daily basis. Wifi was laggy and not always stable, but worked okay half the time. Also, um, cereal was not very good in my opinion but it's not a big deal with other options around.
Booked nearly 2 weeks stay from end of March into April for travelling family group of 6 - they gave us rooms on same floor per request(you have to ask for extra room key card copies.) For good location and fair price(in comparison to closer upscale hotels) as facilities are decent overall regardless of some traces of being a little outdated here and there. Unlike other places we stayed for few nights, I saw that the beautiful cleaning staff here Really Changes Bed Sheets!!! A Seven Eleven store was literally just 1-2 minutes walk away from hotel so we could always conveniently make drink and snack runs anytime of the day! Air conditioner worked great as life support for us travelers who are native to cold weather and always returned to hotel half dead from Bangkok heat, haha; just adjust the dial on the wall to adjust temperature accordingly. I liked how breakfast hours were 5:30am until 10am helped out when rising super early! The spread of food was decent enough for accommodated price. There was a doorman staff who was so very helpful when we asked for last minute recommendations of where to buy affordable suitcases and always helped my mother hail down rides whenever she asked for assistance, thank you!! Some of the front desk staff were very helpful in explaining booking deals and accommodations when we wanted to book for return stay and leave our extra luggage for a week outing before coming back really saved us so much time and eliminated extra storage costs!
