How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

One of the beds was quite uncomfortable with springs digging into you but the other was comfy so we just rotated.
Lovely staff and hotel. Great location just out of the craziness of ao nang but close enough to walk to everything. Very relaxing stay.

There were some ants in the room and bathroom, though this wasn’t really a big issue and didn’t impact our stay - to be expected somewhat.
The room was one of the nicest we’ve stayed in whilst travelling SEA - spacious, clean, secure, bright and comfortable. We had a balcony where we were able to watch the sunset, which was absolutely stunning. The room can be cleaned everyday if you request it too. Overall, great stay.

Spacious room, all clean and tidy and everything you need is in the room provided. Lovely and friendly staff, very walkable to nearby restaurants and night markets, and very close to the beach. Highly recommend.

Everything was great! Stuff was really nice, room was spacy and clean. We were leaving in the evening (we wanted to spend final day in the town) and we were allowed to leave our baggage in recetption without any fees. Thank you a lot!

Cleaning service is available only until 1pm, which is not very convenient. They did not change the sheets and towels(
The hotel is really cozy and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. They provide water everyday.

The AC in the room wasn't cooling as required. Since Krabi was quite hot, it didn't help at all after a long day. We had to adjust for the days we stayed there.
Quite close to the Ao Nang beach and night market. The rooms are quite spacious and well maintained. There are plenty of eateries nearby and also a prime location for pickups if you're planning for day trips.

The property was relatively close to the beach (Ao Nang), as well as to 7/11. The room was very clean and the staff were very kind.

Bed was a bit hard and only 1 pillow.

The water pressure is so low.
The hotel is very beautiful and has a good vibes. Good location with walking distance to the nearby shop and night market. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Environment very quiet and comfortable at night.

We had two rooms for our group, the bathroom in the one room had seen better times, the other one was fine. Beds are rather hard as often in Asia, but you get used to it. Fridge could be cleaned, and was a bit loud.
Room was pretty big and super clean. Good equipped, WiFi also worked well. Cute balcony. Fresh water and fruits as a nice welcome. AC was clean. For us the location was perfect, not directly at the beach and therefore much more quiet. Yes, you have to walk along the street but only a couple of meters like many others do, so super safe. Welcome from Max was super friendly even though it was late evening. Cheap and good Laundry service next to the hotel.

The wifi in the room crashes all the time. You can't have a proper video call or to surf on the internet. The Internet in the cafe is solid and works much better.
The Hotel is great. It is above the restaurant which is also nice. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. There are several more restaurants around and you need 15 to 20 minutes to the beach. There is a shop close and 7/11 in about 10 minutes walking.

We only stayed for one night on our way to Koh Lanta. Max the host was brilliant, made us feel welcome and very helpful. The room was big and spacious, very clean, bathroom big and clean. Our room also had a balcony which was nice. Tea, coffee and fruit in the room. Good night's sleep and we highly recommend this hotel.

only 1 thing i did not like: Beds are hard as stone. If they could only invest in changing the beddings and make it more comfy it would be great. I woke up with extreme neck and back pain
Location is great if you want to stay in Patong area yet far from the hustle and busstle as the area is calmer. Hotel price quality is excellent and staff were all super nice and respectful

The hotel is amazing! Location is very good, just 10 minutes walking from the beach and night market. Many restaurants arround and supermarkets. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you at any time!

I asked for early checkin and when I arrived at noon was then told to go away until 2pm ! I persisted and finally the owner allowed me access the room.

Huge let down of wifi quality. We had an impression that even mobile internet wifi sharing was blocked there.. In general this was the only negative thing but pretty important one.
The room was clean, helpful staff. Mini fridge included.
