Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Tasty breakfast delivered right to your bungalow! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to the beach - good value for money considering the location. Very beautiful trees, birds and flowers all over the property.

United StatesThe cabanas were a little dated, but it felt charming and rustic. The breakfast could have been a little hotter. It was a nice touch to have it served to the patio, but the coconut pancakes were cold and for $9 per person you could explore more. The food court at village market is always a winner. Again..make it a rule to stay somewhere only for 3 nights. Switching locations and hotels will keep things fresh and give more life to your vacation. Transport from locations via grab and bolt is super affordable. Hua hin has so much to offer.
Location was great, an easy walk to the beach and to the night markets (cicada and tamarind). Although we found both markets to be overpriced for food, especially cicada. Nice atmosphere though. It was off the main road..by all means..DO NOT book a hotel on the main road..or at least don't let them give you a room facing the road. The noises from the late night motorcycles will be too much. So this area was peaceful. The atmosphere was magical..more memorable than a standard anonymous hotel with long hallways. The pool was nice in the evening. Quiet and romantic. The breakfast served to your patio in the morning was nice. The rooms had a nice charming feel, although the exterior was a little dated. Price was fair...we recommend switching locations every three nights to keep things fresh. Staying anywhere too long will make the vacation more repetitive and mundane. It's worth packing every three days and transport to a new hotel is only 100 baht. It was also nice to be on the green baht bus line...an easy 15 baht to get to the malls or hua hin night market further north.

IndiaThe breakfast options were quite limited. I would encourage the property to extend the breakfast menu slightly, also with more vegetarian and chicken/egg options.
Beautiful location. Quiet and walkable and just a 2-min walk to the beach. Lovely service on all accounts. Overall, 10/10 experience.

ThailandImpolite and impersonal staff at check in Crap snack food - microwaved and poorly presented. Plates and cutlery left for us to return. Shower had little pressure and impossible to control temperature.
Comfortable bed; location; and the design and layout of the property: spacious wooden huts around a pool set within gardens.

United KingdomOther guests hogging the sun loungers before breakfast with their towels.
The breakfast was served each morning on our balcony, which was a lovely touch in such a beautiful setting. This was new to us, as when we stayed in 2018 we went for breakfast in the restaurant. The Cicada and Tamarind night markets are a 5 minute walk away. The Songthaews run along the main street and cost just 15 Baht per person into the city centre. They came along about every 5 or 10 minutes, but could be quite packed at busy times.

AustraliaThe air con unit is a bit tired and therefore was a little loud in our first room. We are sound sleepers but if you're a light sleeper this may be a slight issue. We have ear plugs and we are pretty easy going so weren't too worried. We were moved to another room as our son had his own bungalow and as a few people left resort the next day they were able to arrange us closer together without us asking for this so good service.
Bungalows have character so you feel like you in a Thailand village rather than just modern hotel room the can be duplicated in many parts of the world, it's what what we prefer. Highly recommend booking when the two different markets are open as then short stroll (about 200 mtrs up road) for a huge array of street food stalls. Good pools (there are two) had a lovely fine dining meal in the restaurant which is more costly but we balanced this out with other night that were cost effective. Staff organised a car hire for us as we found this area and Hua Hin in general is more spread out and to get to various sights (as we had family unable to hire motorbike but for those couple only good location). Near markets two market (check nights open depending on time of year) massage places and 7/11 not far, a couple of bars, enjoyed Lost and Found. Lovely staff and would stay here again.

EstoniaVery nice and quiet little resort, lots of greenery, nice selection for breakfast to have on your front balcony. We prolonged our stay for additional three nights and are very happy. Good location close to Cicada and Tamarind weekend markets - make sure to enjoy the dinner possibilities there. There are two pools in the resort and mostly we were alone in the pool area - true tranquility and enjoyment. Note, that the beach near the property might not be swimmable due to tide, but beaches are in taxi distance.

GermanyWith each bungalow you had your own little kingdom and everything you needed was there. The staff was absolutely sweet, courteous and super helpful. We always got great tips and everything was made possible for us (ordering a taxi, having rental scooters delivered to Resort, and we made “lanterns” together with the staff for the Loy Krathong).
