How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Shower water was really hot, they said due to the tank on the roof. But I found the water scorching hot, as if the water had been through a hot water system. Even so I would stay again.
Really comfortable place to stay and lovely owners. They were so helpful and greeted us as we walked past. Super clean, and facilities were great.

This is probably the best hostel I stayed during my 2,5 years round-the-world trip! And the most friendly stuff! They allowed me to do early check-in at 8am without any questions and extra money. This place is very clean, comfy and has the best possible location, just 150m from one the most interesting temples in Ayutthaya. Strongly reccomended!

The property was SO close, literally opposite, some of the temples and the night market + you could hire a bicycle from them and get to all the others within 10-30 mins! The staff were so lovely and helpful and the beds were rlly comfy

There are no convenient shelves in the toilet to place your things when you wash. But it’s not a big problem
Excellent location, very clean, has all the amenities: towel, locker with key, comfortable beds, air conditioning.

The couple running this hostel is so sweet, everything is lovely and clean and they provided us with coffee and a little breakfast selection every morning!! I felt happy and safe here. Thebeds are super comfy and the aircon is really good (& quiet). Would definitely come here again!

A small barrier in the bathroom to prevent flooding after taking a shower would be great. And a small bedside lamp would be convenient:
Great location in front of Wat Ratcha Burana and Wat Maha That at only 200 metres. Staff is very friendly, beds in dormitory have curtains for privacy and the airco is great. Breakfast is included, restaurants and night market nearby! Really enjoyed my stay here

Bathrooms are split by gender and male is downstairs from all the bedrooms - the bathrooms were often fully occupied as only 2 between all rooms!
Excellent location, really lovely modern bedroom, classy furnishings, and great easy free breakfast. Such a friendly wonderful host - we only stopped 1 night and would have loved to stay longer!

Only one bathroom on each floor but didn't struggle to find one free when needed.
Best bed I slept in South Asia, so comfortable. In dorms you will have plugs and light in your bed, curtains for privacy. Staff is absolutely lovely, the place is always clean. Toast, butter, jam, coffee and tea for breakfast. The hostel is nested in a very quiet alley close to the old temples. Also close to two night markets.

Only 1 toilet and shower for men , downstairs next to reception. And 1 on first floor for women. Sometimes may have to queue. If you have stomach issues,and have to run, you may be up s**t Creek ! 😵💫

The beds were very comfortable with curtains. Lockers to store our things The air conditioning in the room was a plus. Free breakfast. Very well located opposite a temple and they rent bicycles for very little money. Very helpful and friendly staff

My only complaint would be that there is one bathroom, at night and in the morning I had to wait quite a while to use
Loved that there was toast and coffee offered, the staff were really friendly, there is bike hire available

The location, it is located directly opposite Wat Ratchaburana which makes it easy to visit especially the night market next to Wat Ratchaburana which opens every Friday - Sunday.

Location was perfect. Across the street from the main temple complex. 10 minute scooter ride from the train station and 10 minutes walk to the night market. Good ac hot showers good Wifi access everywhere. All day coffee. Jeremy the owner was very sweet and always helpful.
