This is a very basic, no frills hotel, so if you are looking for something fancy, this isn't it. The pool could do with more umbrellas for shade, as there is only one.

We enjoyed our stay at Baan Petcharat. For us, the hotel was in a good location - it's a 10/15 minute walk to the main area in Patong, but it's far enough away from the madness to get a good night's sleep! The rooms were very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The pool was lovely to have too. The Wi-Fi worked very well throughout our stay. There was no extra charge to pay by card at the hotel either, which is something we found all over Thailand!

Nothing major but this could be improved: - The pool closes already at 19:00. I wish I could have used it later after finishing my day trips. - The room had several lights but all of them rather dim. I was missing some strong central light that would properly illuminate the room (like when I needed to pack my things before sunrise for an early flight). - It would be better if the fridge was inside some furniture to lower the noise from it. - I have told at the reception that my check-out will be around 5am and the lady told me that it is ok and I should just ring the bell and someone will come no matter the time. Well this instruction was clearly not the best, as when leaving the hotel I tried ringing the bell multiple times but nobody appeared (I just left the key on the desk in the end.).

The facade outside doesnt look nice at all. It needs some renovation. It doesnt have a front desk attendant at all times. They dont have a “do not disturb sign” available so they clean the room every day. They dont have a parking space and the space is always full of motorbikes. You have to squeeze ypurself to go in and out of the hotel.

The room is spacious. The beds are comfortable. Big closet, with separate kitchen also inside the room. They clean the rooms everyday. They have a swimming pool too. Will recommend it if you want huge space.

Really great stay here. I had a long stay - nearly 4 weeks, and it was pretty much perfect. Rooms are big, well-maintained and comfortable. Pool view rooms have beautiful view of the hills and sunset. Owners and staff are all incredibly friendly, caring and welcoming. Location is close enough to beach and nightlife to walk to and from, but also far enough that you won't get disrupted by the noise.

Internet is not too fast. Lighting is not perfect, half of the room doesn't have a ceiling light at all. But for me it wasn't an issue.

Lovely friendly owner and staff. Mist is on hand to help with any requests like more pillows, towels and get me a kettle , special man hard working. Pool area is private nice clean pool a little shallow in depth. Room peaceful and large with big comfy bed . Great hot water in shower. Location has everything you need but not pritty. Yes would stay again.

The staff were honestly unreal, treated you like family. On our last day we checked out at 11am but our flight wasn’t until 9pm and they let us stay until we needed to leave for our flight. Even offered us fresh towels to shower and let us in the pool all day. Daily cleans of our rooms. Location isn’t bad either only 10/15 minute walk away from Patong beach and bang la road.
