The lights were very dim in bathroom over sink and the large window blinds didn't open so bathroom dark if putting on makeup,worked fine otherwise.Bed and pillows firm but this is common in Thailand.overall we really wished we could have stayed here much longer,the location is awesome

Has a veranda front and back and the room is large.it is very close to the beach and to Rasta baby and all restaurants and 7-11.There is a large breakfast included.lots of shade on the verandas.it has a kitchenette including a microwave and a larger fridge than a bar fridge.the sink is old but works fine.There is a seperate tub with jets although we didn't use it.

Wifi did not work well for me, it buffered a bit. Ok for general stuff but not streaming.

The owner Soa runs a very well organised resort. I had the standard room comes with a great balcony, and I had views of the sea. My room was spotless, breakfast was good. Location is close to the local markets, 711 and lotus. I would definitely rebook here if returning to Lanta.

Comminication was really really hard. The desk women barely talks english. And we had a such a terrible experience with the company that they are renting from. If you wanna rent through the hotel ask and be sure about which company that they are renting. If the company is Lanta Ray Bay Hotel’s tourist information place please avoid them ask find another company. Our motorbike broked(mechanic) after 15 min later drive. and the guy who is renting the bike he brought the new one but then he refuse the give us and then he hit us (not kidding) and threatened us. We are still in shock and never would forget probably. We were two girls btw. Such a traumatic thing happened to us and when i told the women that what happened. Either she didnt understand or she didnt even care. Her english was so so bad so i really dont know. They should take responsibility but they dont. So even if they suggest that they have motorbikes it is not their own bikes. They are also renting from another company and when something happened like this they dont care. So be awere of!

I would never stayed here bc what happened to us but if i would be honest Location was good. we stayed 2 days. Almost infront of the beach and close to shops, restaurants, markets. Breakfast was simple they tried their best. But in generally thailand breakfast was like this.

Here's a breakdown of my observations: Rude Staff: The staff members were consistently rude and unhelpful throughout my stay. Their attitude towards guests was disappointing and detracted from the overall experience. Lack of Mosquito Protection: Surprisingly, there were no mosquito protection nests for the door, leading to an influx of mosquitoes in the room. This made for an uncomfortable and unpleasant stay. High Mosquito Presence: Despite efforts to mitigate the issue, there were still too many mosquitoes in the room, making it difficult to relax and enjoy my time at the hotel. Unhelpful Management: The boss woman, whom I interacted with, was particularly unhelpful and arrogant. Her demeanor was unwelcoming, and her lack of assistance further exacerbated the already unpleasant experience. Poor Breakfast Service: The breakfast served at the hotel was subpar, and guests were required to collect and return for mediocre food options. This lack of proper breakfast service was disappointing and did not meet expectations. Overall, my stay was marred by rude staff, inadequate mosquito protection, unhelpful management, and subpar breakfast service. I would not recommend this hotel to others seeking a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Very basic rooms, standard not acceptable - towels very thin and hard, looked old and were not clean, most had orange marks and holes in them. - Holes in sheets, pillowcases. - no safe for valuables - multiple large gaps / holes in doorways and windows plus doors and windows that did not shut properly, allowing mosquitoes in - ant infestation in one of the rooms upon arrival. Affected all 3 rooms by the second day.

Our hotel experience was modest but acceptable. The front desk staff was amiable and helpful, especially with organizing local transportation and excursions, such as a memorable trip to Phi Phi Island. Their limited English was a slight barrier, but it did not prevent them from providing us with excellent service. We were upgraded to what the hotel designated as a "superior" room, but it fell short of expectations. The room's condition could best be described as 'well-used', with signs of age and neglect such as rust in the shower and a buildup of limescale. It was also disappointing to note the lack of housekeeping during our three-day stay. Evening hours saw the reception desk unstaffed, which could be inconvenient for guests needing assistance during that time. The room lighting was basic, limited to a single ceiling light which made the ambiance somewhat stark. The bathroom was just about serviceable, and we did not receive any new water bottles after our initial day. On the upside, the hotel's cost was quite economical. The adjacent beach was a stone's throw away, although it lacked amenities like sun loungers and was marred somewhat by litter on the sand. All in all, while the hotel offered a budget-conscious choice, it's clear that improvements could be made to enhance the comfort and experience of its guests.

The room was not cleaned regularly. Basic services like water and toilet paper were not replenished. Ants were prevalent in our room. The room lacked basic maintenance and upkeep - the shower was cold and a mere trickle, kitchen sink was rusty, the ceiling had been patched and partially painted in a number of places. The toilet seat was stained and appeared to un clean. Just, all round disappointing.

Close to the sea and main road. The location is very good. Very kind and helpful personality. Saah also arranged the transfer to the port and a ferry ticket to Phi Phi Island :)

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Right around the corner from Nicha muay Thai gym and next to the beach. Able to rent a Scotter from the resort to get around the island too. Rooms were clean and comfy and the breakfast was good! Short walk to the shops and restaurants.

Bungalows were quite run down, bed was way too hard for a comfortable night’s sleep.

Beach Bungalow was small and basic, verandah was a comfortable place to sit in the evenings. Staff were attentive and friendly, breakfast eggs and fruit always quick and tasty.. Each room had its own foot cleaning tap outside, which was a nice touch. No safety issues. Overall, good for the price.
