I liked that they have scooters for rent, you can book day tours, single way trips to nearby islands, taxi services.. Handy! And the staff is super nice and helpful. The room was simple, with a small balcony, everything was clean and in good working condition.

Location was good, staff was Very friendly and helpful. Im sorry but bed was like a rock..so hard to sleep on. AC wasnt working properly , we didnt have much air. Think it need to be filled with freon or something... Otherwise money/quality wise it was balanced.

The owners were really helpful and friendly and sorted us a bike as well as transport for our next destination. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was also walking distance to an excellent night market.

Comfort wasn't 100%, but you can't expect that at this price point.

The staff are very friendly and take pride in keeping the place clean. Efforts are made to ensure guests are respectful and quiet at night. The room was a good size, and while the bed was hard, a double room with AC at this price is brilliant value. I needed wifi for work and I had a good, strong connection in the room. Thumbs up!

although being located in a good spot near downtown area, location was a bit tricky, even for a local taxi driver, he found it quite difficult to access due to being hidden behind small and narrow streets. beds were not comfortable at all, it felt like instead of a mattress they used a couple of wooden boards rapped in some cloths.

owners/managers were extremely nice and responsive all the time. if anything they one of the best thing about this experience. another thing was how spotless the place was, everywhere you looked. location in general was good.

They didn’t have hair drier, which I consider a must in a 3-star hotel. Also I think it’s necessary to do some maintenance to the furniture, especially in the bathroom area.

We prefer to stay in Krabi town, but some people might like to be closer to Ao Nang beach.

Simple, clean and comfortable room with excellent Wi-Fi and awesome air conditioner. Convenient to rent motorbike directly from hotel for fair price with no mechanical issues. Owner was very helpful to book Ko Phi Phi and 4 Island boat trip for a great price during April. Hotel is only 5-10 min walk to local food market, 7-11, grocery store and laundry in Krabi town.

The only bad experience was with recommended scooter rental service - we travelled in Thailand one month, ve hired scooters many times but this was farly the worst experience - very old hardly working pieces, which had to me exchanged, but anyway during one trip we got dramatic fuel leakage and our scooter stopped. But we solved it by pushing it home and we got another exchange. I believe you have more rental service in krabi - you can change it :-).

Visit in 2/2023. As you know from other reviews owners are simply nearly perfect. Very helpful with providing info and arranging trips and transportation. Trustable people.

There is no cattle in the room, and the reception is locked in the evening (around 8 or 9 pm) so there is no way to get any hot (drinking) water after that time.

Clean rooms, good beds, there is even a balcony. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was nice and quiet.

The WiFi was not always working well, especially in the evening. I was disturbed by some noisy guests at times, but this can happen in all hotels!

I stayed in Baan Samrarn for a week. Both of the owners were very welcoming and friendly, and always ready to help. The room was simple, but spacious, with a desk and a fridge, which was convenient. There were two large windows, so the room was bright. The mattress was hard indeed, as mentioned in other comments, but it only bothered me on the first night - I then slept quite well, maybe also thanks to the excellent thai massage I got just down the street! The location is quite good and within walking distance to the walking street and night weekend market, the river, the city center and songthaews. There are several good restaurants and cafes near by, as well as a weekly night market. A lady can do your laundry just across the street. I was helped to get a minivan to Ao Nang on my departure day at a very good price, which saved me from walking to town with my luggage. I truly appreciated it.

The air conditioning unit was a bit tricky to operate but it may have been me.

The room was exactly what I would expect for the price we paid. We only needed a place to shower and sleep while we explored Krabi.
