My stay at Baan Sawan, booked through Booking.com, was absolutely perfect. Philippe, the resort's owner, was incredibly welcoming and always ready to help, making the experience truly special. The resort itself is stunning, offering a serene and comfortable atmosphere just 500 meters from the beach. I highly recommend Baan Sawan for a peaceful getaway with excellent hospitality and easy beach access.

Beautiful and peaceful small resort with the most friendly and welcoming owner and staff you could imagine. Everything was great and I can’t think of anything negative to say. Joe’s Piña Coladas deserve an honorary mention! Hope to be back one day!

Location was quite a walk away from the town area, with no sidewalks. Could have hired a car/scooter but decided to walk most of it.

The staff were super helpful, the restaurant was good, the room was peaceful, and had plenty of space for a few days' stay. Staff also provided a space to keep luggage as I waited on my afternoon flight.

All of the staff were so warm, friendly and hospitable. The room was fabulous and really clean, with stunning views of the courtyard and pool. Would go back anytime and recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet, relaxing stay!

Unfortunately the location is a lil out of the way, owner helped with that but its something to be aware of. Walked to 7-11 one day but care at night there's some dogs and wouldn't recommend walking. Great if you have a scooter though

Hotel was awesome. 2 pools, good breakfast, amazing dinners. Room was clean and had all we needed, we also used laundry. We only bought breakfasts but ate best pad Thai and curry ever, so we ate dinners there every day, also desserts were delicious. First time ever I found hotel kitchen so good. Staff kind, friendly, helpful and professional, props for all good advice and organizing zipline and Muay Thai :) Owner is a top guy, looking after everything, top to bottom. Definitely recommend and would come back.

The place is perfect for someone with a scooter or a car. If you don't have your own transport, you have to accept that you'd need to pay a bit to get around. However, the Songtaews and rideshare apps are close at hand and not too expensive, even for a family of 4.

The rooms were very spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The place is removed from the busy streets of Chaweng beach so was really nice and quiet. The balconies and daybeds were great and had a view of the 2 pools. The pools are amazing. The breakfasts were really enjoyable with options for eggs, omelettes, pancakes and fried rice with eggs. Philipe, Joe and the staff were amazing and really accommodating and also really helpful with our itinerary as well as costs of transport to various places. The 3 dogs were a constant source of laughter every morning.

The fastest WIFI I ever had in an Hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet location, friendly staff. You need a motorbike to move around as it's located a bit uphill, but you will have absolutely quiet nights and not so many mosquitos (none in the room). I would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately the public entrance to the beach was closed at the moment so you cannot walk to the beach but need to go further with some form of transport. Makes the location less favorable. Otherwise good spot !
