This guesthouse was wonderful! The bunks are huge, private, and have an abundance of storage. The space is super clean, and close to plenty of restaurants, 7-Eleven, etc. while still being an easy walk to the beach. Tin was an outstanding host as well. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend you stay here when in Aonang! Tin is an incredible host, who was very knowledgable and responsive throughout our stay which made our trip! I was unwell during our stay and Tin kept checking I was okay which was much appreciated. The rooms are lovely, clean and spacious and the staff are friendly. Tin and his wife create a homely atmosphere throughout the guesthouse which makes it the perfect place to return to after a trip to the islands!

We really enjoyed our stay at @Aonang Guesthouse! The location is perfect. There is a great restaurant next door and Muay Thai club with group/private classes. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and also very clean. Everything you might need is provided. There were even seperate towels for the beach. I’m surprised it has only 2 stars as from my perspective the standard is much higher! We were very warmly welcomed by the owner of the place - Tin. He is extremely helpful and kind. There is even an Ao Nang guidebook with tips and recommendations prepared by himself in the room. We would love to come back there one day 😊

For a guesthouse/hostel everything was very clean!!! Felt like I was staying at a hotel... The staff was really kind and helping. If you are a backpacker and you would like to go to somewhere more quiet (still make friends) and clean, this is the place ! There is also a very nice Thai restaurant next to the Guesthouse.

This hostel is absolutely incredible! It has everything you need and is so well thought through (enough hooks + space by your bed + 3 lockers per person). The rooms are bigger than the usual hostel shared bedroom and even have bug mirrors in them. You can even borrow beach towels for free. Out of all the hostels I have stayed in this was by far the best one! What makes it even better is the amazing, super friendly and helpful owner Tin. He can give you great recommendations, always checked in with me if everything is okay and offered his help if needed. He gives this place a special charm and made me (female solo traveler) feel at home and safe.

Everything was amazing

Tin was such an incredible host! Gave us detailed recommendations of where to eat, visit and day trip to on the scooter that he rented to us. The rooms were beautiful with very comfortable beds and great views of the limestone cliffs around Krabi. Go next door for food! Best restaurant we visited in Ao Nang by a long shot.

I basically came here to see if the Tin hype was what everyone said it was. The man does not disappoint! No but jokes aside, just a super helpful and kind soul. It’s very easy to meet other travellers at this hostel and everything was superb ✨✌️✨ I had an amazing time here!

Really nice accommodation for a fair price. Everything is super clean and well organised. The rooms are very friendly and modern with a good (clean, new & high tech) AC. What makes this a 12/10 accommodation is the host Tin. He is really a “one of a kind” host and will help you whenever you have questions, need help or want to have a recommendation. Tin saved us a lot of tome with organising bus/boot connection for further travelling or day trips.

Really lovely stay, amazing amenities including a water filter in the lobby, a plunge pool and great cooling in the rooms. The bed was so comfy, some of the best sleep I’ve had in Thailand. We were also far enough away from the main strip to get some peace and quite at night, definitely not a party hostel, great for people looking for comfort and a friendly vibe.

i loved everything! This place was a hidden jewel in Ao Nang. Firstly, Tin the owner was the most attentive owner I have had the pleasure to know. He was proactive in WA with me to check on my departure/arrival status. My team had a slight change in arrangements and he was helpful to liaise with both parties. He is super friendly and he even helped book my groups massage slot. He made sure we were well taken care off up until the shuttle back to the hotel. The concept of the place is like a semi hostel where you have the option of staying in a dorm (8 beds 2 bathrooms) or a more private ensuite. My friends and I stayed in the dorm and even if i were alone i would stay in that room as there is plenty of storage space with your own set of key for safety. The dorms were wonderfully clean and the beds so comfortable. we had curtains around the beds for privacy and the aircond was awesome. the common area was also clean, the lovely cleaning lady is meticulous in her job. There's a fridge, chairs and tables for lounging, DVD player with a lot of DVD choices and CD player with CDs And, downstairs there is another set of showers for guest use so you don't have to wait if your sharing dorms. the pool/jacuzzi was small but nice. and most importantly, the front door is auto lock (using token to enter) so it ensures safety. But the location is safe in itself so no worries there. The building is just a few min walk from the main road, there is a 7-eleven around the corner and also a top rated massage parlor is across the street. Food is plenty to the left and right of the main road, and for my fellow muslims, plenty of proper halal food walking distance (seriously, 5min walk). even the mosque is nearby and at night there are so many stalls opened in front of the mosque that have halal food. same for breakfast too. I could go on, but instead i recommend you to stay here and experience Tin's hospitality yourself! So highly recommended!!

Book this place for your stay in Ao Nang/Krabi/Railay area without hesitation. This guesthouse was one of the best places we stayed on our 3.5 month trip across Asia. Tin, the host, is an expert in hospitality. To start, our room was modern, super clean, and the rainfall shower head/water pressure was amazing (compared to the small, low pressure heads we’ve seen pretty much everywhere). The bed and pillows were super comfortable. We had two balconies with beautiful views of the area. This place was the perfect retreat after days on the beach, hiking and rock climbing in Railay. Tin was so helpful with his recommendations on things to do in the area and he even coordinated a private ride for us with 3 other guests going to Koh Lanta. Make sure you eat at the restaurant next door and the Rainbow restaurant down the street while you’re there. They do not disappoint!

We loved everything!

Tin was amazing from beginning to end his service was second to none. He was so welcoming and did everything he could and more to make us feel comfortable. It was a short walk from all the shops/restaurants on the beach and the bed was really comfy! Highly recommend Tins place!

We absolutely loved our stay here at Aonang Guesthouse. The rooms were spacious, spotless and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy, the bathroom was so clean, and the air conditioning was good. After a month and a half of traveling and staying in places with varying comfort, this place felt like such a relief. The host was super responsive and kind, and had lots of great recommendations to offer! Truly nothing to complain about as the rooms were perfect and the host had thought of everything! From free beach towels to rent for the day to a bottle of mosquito repellent by the door - we felt as if we were in good hands! Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in Krabi!
